“Fire! Fire!”

The scream tore through the building.

Panic erupted instantly. Employees rushed out, voices overlapping in fear, footsteps echoing against the floors.

I was still in my office.

Smoke thickened around me, crawling into my lungs. I coughed violently, clutching my chest as the heat intensified.

The flames had already spread.

I stumbled backward, my vision blurring.

No exit.

No air.

I was trapped.

Tears streamed down my face as fear consumed me.

Am I… going to die here?
