Chapter 30

"Clayton, I want a divorce." I gripped the phone.

"What?!" Clayton shouted.

"I want a divorce, Clayton. I'm in love with another man---"

"No! Fuck you, Snow! You're never gonna get rid of me!"

I caught my breath out loud as I woke up in a mind crumbling dream. I held my chest running fast while the bright sun on the window welcomed my face.

"What the fuck was that?" I stared at the ceiling, calming my heart. Clayton's voice sounded like horror in my dream.

It was sadly my sixth day on the island and up until now, I couldn't stop thinking about what Ezra said last time, that I should tell Clayton to say I'd file a divorce as if it was that easy. Until in my nightmares, that thought was hunting me.

I was about to sit when I felt something heavy on my stomach. My brows crossed. I removed the comforter on top of me and my eyes widened as I saw an arm wrapped around my waist. I looked at Ezra, oh God! I massaged my head, trying to remember what happened last night.
