Marcelo’s POV

My private investigator hasn’t called since this morning and I’m starting to get bothered.

“Is he busy doing something else? Or did he lose her?” I asked myself.

I picked up my phone to call him then I dropped it again. I'm extremely curious right now but then a part of me doesn’t want to call him yet.

I decided to wait for a bit before dialling his number but for some reason, I picked up my phone for the twentieth time today and finally decided to just call him so I can be reassured at least.

I dialled the number, my mind racing with thoughts of Stacy and her new friend. My private investigator answered on the first ring.

“Hey, what's up?” I asked immediately he picked,

“Boss,” he said.

“I haven’t heard anything all day, is there a problem?” I asked.

“No problem sir, actually she hasn’t come out of the hospital since she entered,” he explained.
