"Let's just have our talk at the club. I'm actually on my way there now, I need to clear my head. I'll see you there." Matt grabbed his car keys from the bedside table in his bedroom and hurried out of the house. It had been difficult for him to get over the talk he had with his mom regarding Clarisse. He couldn't understand why it still stung each time her name was mentioned but one thing was certain. He needed to clear his head off her and he could do that only when he's at the club. "You're up early. Don't you need to rest for your shift later?" Luisa asked with piercing eyes that showed she sensed was something off with Sophia. She had gone to wake Ann up and get her ready for school but she saw Sophia had beat her to it. Although Sophia had ended her shift earlier than usual the previous night, Luisa knew her daughter to be one who would still spend the whole day in bed, sleeping off like a tired log. Sophia crouched to the ground with arms wide open to receive her daughter who had a big smile in her face as she ran as fast as her feet could carry towards her. "I'm coming." Sophia answered from inside the kitchen at the persistent knock on the door. She grabbed a dry towel from one of the kitchen drawers and wiped her hands as she hurried to get the door after putting it away on the dinning table. It was almost 8pm and knew she wasn't expecting any visitors neither was her mom. The morning sun peered through the brightly colored chiffon curtains in Matt's bedroom. He wriggled in bed, disturbed by the sunrays.It was a Saturday morning meaning a work free day for him and he intended to make the most of it resting in bed.
