Chapter 12

Isabelle’s heart was thumping as she looked at Luke's very angry face. Reed had a small smile though.

"Go and have your breakfast in the kitchen babe! I will be there in a minute,” Luke  ordered curtly. She just moistened her lips then nodded before doing what he said.

"Aren't you gonna let me in sir cousin?" Reed joked.

"NO! What was that all about?!” Luke  asked gratingly. He pushed his cousin outside and closed the door.

Reed just raised both his hands, "Hey wait! You know I won't fight you."

They never had any conflict   more so had a fist fight since they were young.

"I know we haven't had any physical fights but I am warning you Reed..."

The latter  sighed heavily, "Are you my cousin Luke Contrero? I think you are a different man! Since when have you been territorial? It doesn’t suit you,”  he  joked.

"Are you mocking me? " he  asked with narrowed eyes.
