Chapter Eighteen

Sebastian's consciousness slowly emerged from the depths of darkness, his mind grappling with confusion as his senses slowly awakened. As his eyes fluttered open, he was met with a chilling scene. His surroundings offered no comfort or familiarity, for he found himself in a cold, windowless room. The air was stale as if time had stood still within the confines of those four walls.

A dim light from above cast eerie shadows across the room, barely illuminating the corners. Sebastian's heart quickened. Panic gushed through him, only to escalate when he tried to move and discovered chains tightly binding his hands and feet to the unforgiving walls.
