Chapter Thirty

The first rays of dawn peeked over the horizon, bathing the Pack Lands in a warm, golden glow. In the stillness of the morning, Amelia's steady footfalls were the only sound as she made her way to the training hollow, a secluded glen hidden deep within the ancient woods.

Gathering her robes, she lowered herself to the mossy ground, settling into a cross-legged position. Amelia closed her eyes and began her daily meditation ritual, a practice as innate as breathing. She allowed her mind to let the world around her fade still until there was nothing but the steady thrum of her heartbeat and the whispers of the wind rustling through the leaves.

It was here, in this place of tranquillity, that she would begin to guide the twins on their journey.

A short while later, Eddie and Millie approached, stifling yawns as they emerged from the tree line. Though groggy from being awoken before first light, an unmistakable current of excitement and trepidation thrummed through them.
