Sage

I stood in the hospital parking lot long after the taxi disappeared around the corner. The cold bit at my knuckles, but I didn’t feel it. All I felt was the echo of her voice cracking when she barked at me, tears streaming down her face.

I’d finally pushed her too far.

My phone buzzed in my pocket—pack business, probably—but I ignored it. I just stared at the empty road where the cab had gone, replaying the moment she’d yanked her hand out of mine in the hospital bed. The way she’d looked at me when she realized I was the reason she almost died last night.

Disgust. Fear. Hate.

All earned.

I climbed into the Rover, slammed the door hard enough to rattle the frame, and sat there with the engine off. The silence was loud.

Alex was on my kill list, but even that felt distant right now. Because the truth—the one I’d never said out loud—was clawing its way up my throat.

I didn’t just want to own her.

I didn’t just want to win.

I wanted her safe, happy and whole. Who am I even kidding?

  • Eve and the Devilish Alpha   It’s Over

SageI paced the living room after she left, the door’s click echoing like a final nail in a coffin I wasn’t ready to bury. The coffee in my mug had gone cold again—third cup today, and it still tasted like nothing. Bitter emptiness. Fitting.I couldn’t believe it was over. No, scratch that. I could believe it. I’d pushed her to this. Weeks of chasing, of not letting go, of turning what started as pride into something darker. I’d told myself it was about winning, about claiming what no one else could have. The only woman who ever said no to me—the Alpha, the untouchable. Rejection like that? It burned. It festered. Turned into obsession. But now? Sitting here alone, the house too quiet, her scent still lingering on the sheets upstairs like a ghost… I knew the truth I’d been dodging. It wasn’t just ego.It was love. The kind that snuck up on you, wrapped around your throat, and squeezed until you couldn’t breathe without it. The kind that made me crash my car into hers to save her from

  • Eve and the Devilish Alpha   It’s done

Eve“Eve!” Mia hissed beside me, leaning in close enough that only I could hear, her teeth gritted behind a forced smile. “What the fuck are you doing? Sign those papers already.”I swallowed, the pen still trembling in my hand. “I can’t… I don’t think I can anymore,” I whispered back, my voice barely holding together.Mia’s eyes widened, shock flashing across her face before she masked it. “Why? What’s going on?”I just sighed, staring at the blank signature line like it might swallow me whole. The lead lawyer cleared his throat politely. “Is there a problem we can address?”Mia let out a nervous chuckle, squeezing my hand under the table, hard. “We’re so sorry. Just… give us one minute, please.”She stood, tugging me up with her, and practically dragged me out of the living room. Up the stairs, down the hall, into my bedroom. The door shut with a firm click. The second we were alone, Mia whirled on me, arms crossed, eyes blazing with a mix of anger and disappointment.“Can I know wh

  • Eve and the Devilish Alpha   Ready for More?

EveHis mouth was still on mine, tasting of me and him and everything forbidden, when he shifted. One strong hand slid down my thigh, hooking under my knee with deliberate slowness. He lifted my leg, guiding it up until my calf rested against his shoulder, opening me completely to him. The stretch burned sweetly along my inner thigh, and I gasped into the kiss, feeling cool air rush against my soaked core.He pulled back just enough to look down at me, eyes dark and feral, breath ragged.“You’re so fucking beautiful like this,” he rasped, voice rough with restraint.I couldn’t answer. My heart was pounding too hard, my body already aching for more.He held my leg steady, his other hand guiding himself to my entrance—teasing, sliding the thick head through my wetness, coating himself, making me squirm.“Sage…” I whimpered, hips lifting, trying to take him in.He didn’t make me wait long. One slow, relentless push and he sank into me—deep, deeper than before, the new angle letting him h

  • Eve and the Devilish Alpha   Tasting You

SageI lowered myself slowly until my weight pressed her gently into the mattress, my forearms caging her head. Her breath hitched as our bodies aligned—chest to chest, hip to hip, the heat between us already unbearable. Her eyes, dark and wide, searched mine, lips parted on a soft exhale that brushed my mouth.I started with another kiss. Not the frantic one from downstairs. This was slow and deliberate. My lips grazed hers once, twice, teasing, until she lifted her chin, chasing more. Only then did I give it to her—deep, languid, tongue sliding against hers in a rhythm that made her arch beneath me. She tasted like the diner’s spices and something sweeter, something that was only her.Her hands came up to my shoulders, fingers curling into my shirt, pulling me closer. I let her, shifting my weight to one arm so the other could trace down her side—slow, possessive strokes over her ribs, the dip of her waist, and the curve of her hip. She shivered, a soft whimper vibrating into my mou

  • Eve and the Devilish Alpha   Sleep with me

SageI watched her the whole time she ate, trying not to make it obvious. She kept her eyes on her plate mostly, but every few bites she’d glance up, like she was checking if I was still there or maybe trying to figure me out. When she finally looked away, cheeks a little pink, I felt something shift in my chest.“I can take my meds here, right?” she asked, already reaching into the brown pharmacy bag.I nodded. “Go ahead.”She pulled out the bottles, popped the pills with a swallow of water, and went back to her food. We didn’t talk much. The quiet wasn’t uncomfortable, though. It felt… careful. Like both of us were afraid of breaking whatever fragile thing was happening. When her water ran low, I flagged down the owner—a middle-aged woman who’d been sneaking glances at me all night—and asked for another bottle. She brought it fast, eyes wide, and scurried off again.“Are you sick?” I asked once we were alone again.Eve looked up, surprised. “No. Why?”“The meds.”“Oh,” she whispered
