Knees bouncing, fingers endlessly tapping his table, lips almost bleeding from biting too hard. Alvaro's heart was beating so hard he could almost hear it. It felt like it was going to jump out of his chest.
The papers given to him by Dario Espinosa were scattered at his desk. Pictures, places, certificates of birth, contracts.
Everything was so overwhelming. But that wasn't what worried him so.
It was his wife. Genevieve's well-being was on the line.
