R O D R I G O

I awoke to the ringing sound of my own cellphone, my head still buried in the pillow, reaching for the table with one hand. I picked up, still half-asleep.

“Good morning, Mr Roberts. I have your suit and a cup of coffee.”

“Jennifer?” I croaked, recognising my personal assistant.

“Yes, sir.”

“What day is it?” I turned around, and as she was about to answer, I jumped up, realising Valeria was not with me. “Bring it up,” I said quickly, calling Valeria's name before my mind could spiral. When I saw she was not in the bathroom, I reached for my phone, almost ready to dial her, when a knock stopped me.

I thought it was her, that she had gone for breakfast and returned, so without thinking, I walked to the door. I opened it, then shut it again when I found it was not Valeria but Jennifer. I was caught in my own confusion.

“I’m so sorry, sir.” I heard her apologise, but I didn’t respond. I was about to press the call button when she added something.

“What did you say?”

  • Ex-husband Demands Remarriage   From Me to You!

Hi everyone🌸I’m honestly shocked and so grateful for how you’re treating this book. My previous book, Divorce? His Biggest Mistake, didn’t get this kind of understanding; when the female lead gave (or almost gave) the male lead a second chance, many readers were upset. Here, though, you’ve all been so supportive, and it really means the world to me. I can see it not just from the few comments, but from the votes; the way they’ve gone up tells me you’re standing behind Valeria’s decision. 💛 I just follow my characters wherever they take me, and sometimes I don’t agree with their choices, but that’s the beauty of being an author lol.About that skipped erotica chapter, I wasn’t sure about sharing it before, and sharing it now would confuse you, but next time, I won’t hold back—if there is a next time. 😉And yes, this month, I’m finishing this book! Get ready for chapters to pile up; make sure your coins and internet are ready!I hope this note doesn’t cost too many coins since it’s

  • Ex-husband Demands Remarriage   Chapter 0169

R O D R I G OI don’t know if women get even more beautiful when they’re married, but I can for sure say this about my wife. Hair down on her shoulders, cherry lips, a little smile on, a thin necklace that looked like it was made for her.I don’t know if it’s because, when we were married years ago, she never really wore professional clothes like this. Back then, she was a stay-at-home wife, always in casual clothes, taking care of Anthony. But now, the little white shirt under her official look made her breathtaking—actually intimidating. If I was to go with my mind right now, I’d just run out. But no, I was a man. I could do this. Rejection was the least of my worries. Still, my goodness, after last night, I don’t think it’s possible to stay away from her. I will absolutely lose my mind if she rejects me now.“Mr. Roberts.”Her voice snapped me out of my thoughts. Quickly, I cleared my throat and started explaining what was about to happen.“I thought you gave me a ring already,” sh

Rodrigo was everything I imagined–no, even better. Last time this happened, he was a bit intoxicated, and it really was just rushed. Although I still remember it being the best night of my life, seven years kind of erased that. Carlos helped me forget, but now, after last night, I don’t think I ever will.My legs up on his shoulders, my toes in his mouth, God, he was an animal. And apparently, I was so into that because I came like three times before he did. I even squirted, and I have never squirted with a man before. It only happens when I’m playing with myself, but apparently Rodrigo knew that specific spot. Not that Carlos wasn’t good, he was amazing. He knew how to treat me, but it annoyed me how gentle he always was, how he’d ask every now and then if I was okay, like I was a virgin.Theo was good too, even better than Carlos, but I believe you have to have some feelings for a person to have good sex. That’s why I could tolerate Carlos. But Rodrigo… God, I’m not sure if it’s bec

Will you believe me if I tell you Rodrigo and I have never really genuinely kissed before? I mean, make out like a couple –tongue and all that, like we only had that one-night stand that resulted in Parker; otherwise, he always treated me like his sister. Yeah, I was his sister-in-law, but when I started falling for him, I fantasised about all those moments. In public, he would just give me a dry peck, enough to get the press talking, but never passionate, if you know what I mean. And right now, sitting on this bed, watching him gulp that water down his throat, I don’t know if it’s pregnancy hormones, but it was surely doing something to me.“Valeria?” He didn’t raise his voice, but it was enough to snap me out of it.“Yeah, um, sure – sup?” Awkwardly, I scratched the back of my head.“I’m asking if you’d like to order room service.” He stood up, eyes softly looking at me, and for a moment, I found myself watching his lips. “I mean, we are married, so I guess we can celebrate, with ch

**“He loves you.” Christian’s voice shook me out of the daze I’d fallen into. This just didn’t seem right to me. “And this place is safe. I checked everywhere. I’ll just turn the bed, and you’re good,” he added, making me stand to my feet as he came toward the bed, the intention to change its position clear.“You’ve always protected me,” I said, walking to the other side so I could give him enough space to move the bed around.“Just… doing my job,” he answered, his voice heavy, now pushing the bed.“This is more than doing your job. Really, thank you.” I meant that—but I had another intention behind the words.“I failed you earlier. If she hadn’t located you, I don’t even know what could have happened. Do you know how crazy Rodrigo went looking for you?”“Yeah, I’m his fiancée.” I meant it as a joke, laughing a little, but he didn’t seem to find it funny.“Seriously, I think the years you guys were apart made him realise what he had lost.”“Oh no, please don’t tell me you think—”“He
