Melissa's POV

"Have you seen the news?" I bolted into Antonio's house.

Apparently, he was now living opposite me in my neighborhood. All I needed to do was stroll out of my compound and cross over to his place.

"Make yourself comfortable" His voice was strained, followed by a grunt.

I looked around for him until my eyes came down to the ground and there he was, doing pushups with a hand.

When he stood up and I noticed he was shirtless, I turned back immediately. "Jesus Christ! Put on a shirt"

"I wasn't the one who badged into another person's territory without any prior warning" He scoffed. "I'm sweaty so I can't afford to fuck any clean shirt up"

"Urghh!" I finally turned, looking at anywhere but his bare chest, even though my eyes would cunningly drop down to it briefly.

"It's yours, you can look at it" He said, holding my chin down. I slapped his hands off, pushing him out of my way.

"It WAS mine. Not anymore." I corrected, sitting on the island.

"Now that you're here" Antoni

  • Ex-husband's Grave Mistake    Gary

Melissa's POV"Tonia!" I banged on the door. I had been knocking on this door for a few minutes now but she wouldn't open."Melissa, I think -"I glared at Gerald. He clamped his mouth shut, just standing there. He knew better not to reply me in this state."Leave me alone!" She yelled from inside, her voice muffled like she screamed from a pillow."I can talk to her" Antonio stood close to me, ignoring the death glare I threw at him.I shouldn't have brought Tonia here with those witches around. I blame myself for not seeing that they would pull up something like this.I didn't even know how to explain myself to Tonia."I promise, hunnie. If you come out, mummy and I will explain everything you need to know." I shared a horrified look with Antonio. He gave me this look that said 'trust me'. No, I don't trust you. What did he mean by that?I wasn't going to share my traumatic experience with my child. It wasn't the right time. It took me years before I started therapy. This wasn't s

  • Ex-husband's Grave Mistake    About your mother

Antonio's POVI blackmailed her I'm not different from whoever tried to blackmail her back then that made her leave. I just didn't want her to leave me. I didn't want her going close to any other person. In my space, she was safe. I didn't trust Lawson and Hudson around her and I want her to be safeMy mind casted back to a certain conversation with Tonia."Mummy doesn't usually let out her emotions. I hope you look after her and keep her away from the bad guys" Tonia said to me, her eyes pleading."I promise, Tonia" I held her hand, genuinely making a promise to her.I promised and I'd be breaking my promise to her and myself and I wouldn't like that. I groaned, roughly dragging my hands down my face. "You look like shit" My grandfather said, taking a seat."Grandfather" I greeted, sitting up straight He huffed out, staring into space. "How's your wife?" He asked.I tilted my head to the side, raising my eyebrow at him. "When did you start caring about Doris?" "Doris? Who's that

  • Ex-husband's Grave Mistake    Scheming Bastard

Melissa's POV "Melissa!" I groaned lowly, throwing my head backward as I pinched the bridge of my nose. "What? What do you want from me?""About yesterday" He stood in front of me, his hands on my forearms. I looked around, shoving his hands off me. People would think we had something going on. "Look, Antonio. I really don't care." I admitted honestly. I didn't care because I was bigger than all those shit. Can't lie, I was startled but I wouldn't put anything past Antonio. Scheming bastard. Just like his motherHe pulled me into the office by my hand. I was literally skipping than walking gently. "Jesus Christ, you'd injure me!"Pulling my hand away from his, I glared at him. He slammed the door shut after we had entered. "Enough! Can't you see I'm trying here?" He asked, his voice breaking for a split second."I didn't ask you to" I said sternly, eyeing him up and down. "But I want to. I want you -""I'm tired of hearing that bullshit. It's more disgusting coming from a man wi

  • Ex-husband's Grave Mistake    New Kid

Antonio's POV"Still have back pain?" I asked her, dropping myself on the chair opposite hers She dragged her eyes from my chest up to my face, showing me the permanent scowl that had been on her face ever since we got back. "What? You're still mad?" I scratched the back of my neck nervously.I mean, she said she wanted to sleep on the couch and I wasn't in the mood to argue further with her. Women needed to learn how to not make rash decisions. That's what I wanted to teach her. "What do you want, Mr Antonio?" She asked, her voice icy cold. I had to look at her again.Wasn't it the same Melissa from yesterday? I scoffed at myself remembering that she wasn't any friendly yesterday. She was really good at this 'we're strangers now' act "Ah. It's back to business?" I chuckled lowly. "I'm here to apolo-""For following me or for giving me waist and body pain or for being a pain in my damn ass" She stared at me through her long eyelashes. "Uhhh.. all?" "Sorry isn't enough to encomp

  • Ex-husband's Grave Mistake    Unexpected reply

"I'm stepping out!" I heard Antonio yell. I had been stuck in the bathroom, trying to process the whole thing and also to let the fact that I'd be sleeping together with Antonio, sink in.Earlier, he brought clothes from God knows where. Though he said he got it from a shop close by but they didn't have something solid to eat and so he just came back. "I should hurry up and bathe before he comes - Ahhh!" I screamed when the water spilled on me without me doing anything. It was sensitive. That type of shower where water flows when your hands or body is under it. "Now, I've soaked this dress" I groaned, locking the door properly, just in case. I didn't want to wear the cloth he got because it was small. I guess, I didn't have a choice. But I had a bigger problem and that was how to get the clothes. "I'd just bathe first." I decided. Hurriedly, I began to bathe. I didn't waste up to 10 minutes and I was done bathing. I opened the door slightly, pushing my head out first, scanning th

  • Ex-husband's Grave Mistake    Possessive much?

Melissa's POV "Jesus Christ, Antonio. What are you doing here?" I asked, looking back at my partner for today."Who the fuck is he?" He pointed at the man who stood there, equally as shocked as I was.How did he even find me here?"How did you find me?" I asked him the question, eyeing him up and down."Melissa, I need to know what's going on" He asked, walking up to me."Are you here for an appointment too? I'm sorry, here is filled" The man, Larry spoke up"Appointment? Do I fucking look gay to you?" Antonio began to charge at him but I held him back. What was he doing?"I didn't know a massage could be classified as something gay. If so, then why are you here?" Larry spat at him. "A massage?" Antonio asked, looking from me to Larry to my partner for this session. Her massage therapist had just stepped out few minutes ago."Yes. A massage." I told him. "I'll be back Larry. Give me few minutes to handle this" I'd definitely be taking it out of his paycheck. No, I'm not kidding gu
