"What did you do while I wasn't here, Amanda?" Hunter asked me when we entered our room. We finished dinner and put away our food. I threw myself on the bed and lay down on my back.

I am very tired. Don't know why. I didn't do anything heavy tonight.

"You mean, our dad . You are their future daughter-in-law. We will become a family, Amanda," I turned to Hunter.

We both chuckle. He made it clear that we won’t ever speak that we are acting.
