CHAPTER 35 — LET THE GAMES BEGIN

A woman smartly dressed in a black suit and a white blouse walked through the café entrance. Her jet-black hair was tied up high on top of her head and her expression was bleak and cold, although attractive in an odd way. This must be the woman I was waiting for. Her eyes wandered over the other people in the café before falling onto mine. She nodded, as did I. We had only spoken on the phone once and it was brief and to the point. She asked me to meet her and gave me a location, but that was it. As I said, it was brief.

    “It’s so nice to finally meet you.&rdquo
