We stopped halfway along the road that leads to my host's house as I intentionally told him to stop the car and he did. I wasted no time in climbing down and slamming the door gently behind me for I didn't want to let him know where I lived. Since he was an enigmatic man, he should use his mysterious ways to trace her location if he really required her help. I thought, inwardly.

"Thanks for today," I said and grabbed my things.

"My pleasure. Remember... Tomorrow it is," he endeavoured to remind for the hundredth time through the window.

I could only shake my head as I watched him speed off until he was out of sight.

I turned and walked down the empty narrow streets. I stopped as I saw my friend waving from afar and I reciprocated, waving back too with an angel three-sixty smile apparently clear on my face. It was pretty obvious I was blissful with today's activities, although not entirely. I thought, remembering the casanova of a man and his pesterings.
