36. Bashing Out So Much Hate

“I understand now, Liam. I get it all. Don’t come looking for me when things go bad.”

These were the words I had uttered to Liam before I left the local hotel.

In just a few hours away from Liam, I managed to put myself in this amount of trouble. My mind encrypted this as I sized up Liam, who stood directly in front of me, with a cool expression, overriding his features.

“Li- “I called out, but didn’t finish up, bracing myself before speaking again.

“Err…Boss Liam...” I corrected, trailing out.

He grinned widely at the correction I made, giving a terrific expression. Walking up to me, he took my hands in his, holding it like it was something he adored most in his world.

“What happened, red? How did you end up here?” he grimaced.

“I-It’s not what you think. I-I would never commit something against the law—”

“Shh,” he interrupted, with his index finger
