Xavier’s gesture baffled me. All I could do was gape at his back, headed to where Calvin was. My eyelids fluttered fast as if I had discomfort believing what’s happening today.
Calvin lifted the beer to his lips, eyes passing glance at me and back to Xavier.
I chewed on my lip, watching from afar as Xavier spoke to Calvin. It seems like they’re only having a brother-to-brother conversation from where I sat until Calvin shook his head.
