Chapter Two

Laura's P.O.V.

Nelly seemed amazing, she is a model just like I thought, she told me she models for her sister who was a fashion designer, all the clothes she wears are made by her sister, she was open to me, I felt happy meeting her. Once I was done showing her the school, she exchanged contact so I could share notes with her.

The school was over, finally, I decided to walk back home, the girls had already left, we were meeting later at Mia’s house. I was walking when I heard footsteps behind me, The steps were getting further and further when I turned there was no one and when I turned back I saw Rick, he had that stupid smile as always.

“Fucking God, you scared me, are you fucking crazy,” I said to Rick.

“Hey baby, where are you going?” He asked.

“Home, where is Hunter?.” I asked.

“Behind you.” He said while pointing at my back.

I turned and gave him a hi. “I missed you,” I said to Rick.

“Aww baby, you missed me, I’m blushing,” Rick said sarcastically.

“Shut up,” I said while smiling

“Where are your girls?” Rick asked

“They went home but would see them later,” I said while reaching the familiar turn, I was close to him.

“You can go now, you know mom doesn’t like you.”

“Mothers so dramatic about little things.” He said.

“You killed her goldfish, Rick, She loved him so much,” I said to him.

“Yh one little mistake and I’m labeled for life, your Mamma needs to calm down.”

“Whatever bye,” I said while walking away.

The day I invited Rick to my house, He fried my mother’s goldfish, he said and I quote “ the goldfish looked attractive, I wanted to have a taste.”

I had to do everything in my power to make sure she doesn’t kill him and since then mom doesn’t like Rick, she told me to stay away from him but I give zero shits to what she says.

Reaching my house, I knew I was the only one, mom left for work and well dad is wherever he is. I reached the flower vase by the left and took out the keys and opened the door, that was when I got a text from Nelly.

The message.

Nelly- Hey.

Me- Hi

Nelly- can you send the note?

Me- I have to snap them first then I can send them.

Nelly- Alright, thank you.

Nelly was adamant about the note, well I found someone like Bella I thought to myself. I walked into my room and laid down on the bed, I needed sleep badly, so I took off my clothes and drifted off to sleep. I woke up with my phone ringing, Rick name showed on the screen.

“Hey,” I said while answering the phone.

“Hi, where are you?” He asked.

“I’m at home, I just woke up from sleep.”

“Can you come over please?”

“Alright,” I said while hanging up.

Rick and I are very close, rather too close. If Rick had a girlfriend I'm sure she would have murdered me for always hanging around her boyfriend. I walked into the bathroom to take my bath, my bathroom wasn’t that big but it was enough for two people, there was a shower by the left, the toilet was right across the room, the room was painted brown while the walls were white, there was a sink five foot away from the shower, a mirror that hanged in front of the sink, there was a small cupboard by the left that contained most toiletries. I quickly took my bath and dressed up, I wore white shorts, with a black tank top and palms, I packed my hair into a ponytail and left the house.

Mom will be mad if she found out that I went to meet Rick, I feel she should move on from whatever he did to her.

I stood in front of Rick’s house, Rick lived alone, his parents were far from the country while Hunter I don’t know where he lives but he is always at Hunter’s house anytime I visit.

I walked in not bothering about knocking. Rick and Hunter sat on a large couch, they were playing a game.

“Baby, you came,” Rick said with a smile on his face.

I rolled my eyes at him.

“Hey, Hunter,” I said. Hunter replied with a small smile.

I sat next to Rick, trying to understand the bullshit they were playing, call of duty. I never seemed to understand that game. All bullshit about guns and whatsoever. They were so focused on the game they didn’t even realize I left for the kitchen.

I grabbed the first thing I saw when I stepped into the kitchen, apple juice. I was about to pour it into a cup when I heard a voice.

“You love those things a lot don’t you?”. The voice said.

I turned to be welcomed by Hunter's face, he smiled a bit. I took the time to check out Hunter. He was hot, he was 6ft 5 inches, and I was 5 ft I looked small in front of him. He had this smile that said a lot.

“Hey Hunter, you left the game. Rick must be so mad at you..” I said while focusing back on my juice.

He took a sit on one of the bar stools in the kitchen.

“Laura you are really beautiful and sexy.” Those words sexily rolled down his tongue.

I almost choked when I heard that. I knew Hunter forever but this was the first time we spoke and he compliments my body. Wait did I hear it right? I’m I sure the same Hunter I know said that.
