Chapter 44

Shaw walked behind Roy as he moved more closer to the seer. She bent on her kneel, making some whimpering sound. Roy soon got to where she was and touched her gently on her shoulder.

"I heard you scream Laurel, who is Laurel." Roy asked. He at first thought that it might be the Laurel that was with him that the seer was referring to but after knowing the abilities of Laurel, being a healer, he concluded that she can't be the one that the seer was calling out to.

The seer got hold of Roy's hand and threw him such that he landed in front of the seer with his chest on the floor, causing a thick fog of dust to sprout out from the ground.

The seer wanted to attack Roy but stopped. She let her guard down, she doesn't seem like the type to fight with others. "This is not you, I know that for sure... What has happened that made you this way." Roy said, getting up slowly from the ground.

"This is not the time to ask that, they are coming." The seer said to him.
