Chloe's POV

Standing in my towel, feeling very exposed as I stare at the smiling face in front of me. "You're Chloe, right!?" "Ummm.. Yes... Are you Austen?" I could barely make eye contact "Yes! I am so happy to finally meet you!!! I hope you don't mind, sorry for just bursting in here I thought I'd be back out before you came out of the bathroom. I forgot to put some stuff in here that I got you. When my brother went and got stuff for you from your house he was a bit embarrassed about going through your panties" she chuckles "so I went and got you some when I got some clothes for you so I wanted to bring them in here so you had some stuff, hope you don't mind." I was a bit stunned, I didn't even think about that, and it's cute he was shy and didn't grab those. "Wow, thank you so much I can't believe you did all that for me. I don't know what to say." I was so thankful, looking at her I was in awe of her beauty, she looked a lot like Lucas, perfect waist length hair that was a beautiful light brown with natural blonde highlights and the same piercing blue eyes as Lucas. They had the same nose and her lips were just a bit fuller than Lucas's were, also she had the most perfect build, the ones that all girls wish they had, I wish I had, she was taller than I was too but a bit shorter than Lucas.

"Do you think you could help me go through the boxes that Lucas packed from my house and help me put some stuff away after I change?" I was happy to have someone around, whenever I'm alone I can't help but feel sad. 'I know I'm not alone with you Callie, but it's nice to see the other person not just hear them' 'I know Chloe, but remember you aren't alone, I'm always here, we feel the pain together, I lost them too'. With that, I felt a bit sad and I think that Austen noticed and she walked up to me and gave me a hug, felt like I had a friend. "Okay, I will leave you to change, let me know if everything fits, if not then we can go together to get you what you like and what fits". I looked at her and nodded, she left and closed the door and I went into the closet to look through what all was here. I found band shirts and dresses, along with jeans, every color, shorts and leggings as well as yoga pants and tank tops, just a closet full of every range of clothing you could think of, I was shocked and very excited at all the new things. I grabbed a Rolling Stones tank with some ripped jean shorts and walked back out of the closet. When I saw where Austen put my underwear I grabbed a pair and a lacy bra and got all dressed. Looking for some shoes I saw my converse sticking out of one of the boxes and grabbed them. When I lifted them up I noticed photos under them. They were all the photos that were plastered all over our fridge from home, ones of me growing up and one that was a photo of me with my parents when they brought me home from the hospital after they adopted me. When I saw it I couldn't help but start crying.

"Chloe? Can I come in?" I turned to look out of the closet and to the bedroom door and saw Lucas poking his head in with his eyes closed. I looked at him through my teary eyes and stood up, walking towards the door and touched his face, I don't know what possessed me to do that but he moved his face down and leaned into it, never opening his eyes. "You can open your eyes, I'm dressed" He opened his eyes and they grew wider than I had seen them before, he smiled at me, still with his face in my hand. I moved my hand and stood up straight still staring at me with that perfect smile. "Are you okay Chloe, I thought I heard you crying and I was worried about you. Do you not like the room? What can I do?" "Oh no, I love the room, and that shower is amazing, so are the clothes, everything here is just perfect." I looked down and this time he grabbed my chin and lifted my head up to look at him "Then what is it? You can talk to me, about anything, I'm here for you, whatever you need." I looked into his eyes and all I could think was how I wanted to kiss his lips and have him wrap his arms around me. I felt a strange tingle, one I hadn't felt before, well not one that someone else made me feel, like I was completely turned on by him. With that feeling I felt myself blush and I clenched my legs together when I saw something in his eyes, like excitement and his smile changed a bit and his eyes got darker, I couldn't help but to keep staring at him, like he could read my mind and knew how I was feeling at that moment. "Umm I found the photos you packed from my house and I saw one of me with my parents when they brought me home from the hospital after they adopted me, I was happy to see it but then felt a rush of grief and couldn't help but cry. I'm sorry if I made you worry." I saw him cock his head to the side after I said I was adopted, like wheels were turning in his head but shook it off. "Never be sorry for that. Are you hungry? Would you like to go out to eat with me? We have a couple different little places we can go to or I can cook for you here" "You can cook?" I looked at him and his eyes smiled from how big his smile was, then he grabbed my hand and dragged me down the stairs and into the kitchen.
