Chapter 80

Third Person's pov

The dimly lit bedroom could almost be declared empty, if not for the crossing shadow figure on the walls.

Annalise pondered about the space with her five fingers tips, taking turns in having their edges clipped off by her teeth. Her breaths poured out softly but heavily with her brain working three sixty degrees fast on what to do. How to escape Thompson's wrath and what best means to gaslight him.

Alessia's game tricks no longer worked on him. In fact he recently seemed proud about having her. Their mate connection was now an old excuse as well, and he never really regarded Liah any much as long as she was concerned.

“Damn Liah! I fucking told her to get inside, how dare she eavesdrop!’’ She spat, screeching her fingers through her thick black hair like a crazy person.

She suddenly went stiff, like an idea struck her head. But she shook it off immediately as a bad idea.

“I can't do that. This is where I belong. I can't leave this place for any reason

  • Fated for the Lycan   HER INTENTIONS

Chapter 112Alessia's pov I felt needed. I felt desired by a man and it drove me fucking high! His wild enthusiasm. His frame towering over mine; leaving me trapped beneath him. His ravaging hands sorting entrances to contact my skin. I felt wanted. I felt I really mattered. Thompson never made me feel such ways, instead he deprived me of any little self-esteem I had left. No damn woman in her right mind would remain with a man like that, and again I question myself; why had I stayed too long?“Wait.’’ I breathed, breaking our lips with my palms gently holding his shoulders back. One would think he had been on alcohol. The weary depth in his eyes pleading my obligement. Questioning my restraint, and judging my intention before I even voiced it. “I need to leave, now.’’ I whispered, afraid I'd hurt his feelings.‘‘Prove it to me.’’ He demanded, his voice hoarse and cajoling.‘‘What's that?’’ My voice remained whispers, my heart swelling madly at our proximity. “That you'll return

  • Fated for the Lycan   HER DECISION

Chapter 111CYRIL'S povThe air seized with tension, so strong ud never have imagined Alessia to be the center of such effect. My heart disappeared momentarily, my throat pulsating as I watched for her reply. Thompson on the other hand seemed less affected. Or maybe he was just really good at masking his emotions. Eliza and Crestwood weren't any different as they awaited her response expectantly. “Are you sure you wanna do this?’’ Alessia eventually spoke. The long awaited words that blatantly differed from the expected line. “What do I take that to mean?’’ Thompson answered. ‘‘Have you experienced a setting where a lady rejects her fated mate for another?’’ I swallowed nothing, and so did Thompson. Only that while my heart seemed to slowly fix back in place, his seemed to have just melted away. “Can you get straight at it, Alessia?’’ Eliza chimed, visibly displeased by the direction it was all turning at. “I'm afraid I can't, not with these innocent young minds here.’’ Alessia

  • Fated for the Lycan   NEW HOME

Chapter 110Alessia's POVHe watched me with narrowed eyes, sorting an explanation of which I had none. “What was that for?’’ He eventually asked when I wouldn't say a word. I shrugged, turning my gaze from him. “You seemed a bit carried away. What's on your mind?’’‘‘I wasn't. I'm just curious to know how today ends’’ He answered with straight , stiff jaw and serious eyes. I wanted to pry further, but with another look at his face it seemed like a bad idea. So I swallowed back my voice and focused on the ride. Arriving at the mansion, I followed nearly closely behind Cyril. His countenance hadn't turned any different, in fact he now had his clenched jaw high up as we walked to the building. I was momentarily blown away as we walked into the living room, crowded with people. “Mom Alessia!’’ Liah’s ever familiar voice screamed out, and she appeared before time, hurrying towards me.“Mom!’’ Adrian called as well. It was then I noticed Thompson seated on the couch with Adrian in h

  • Fated for the Lycan   CRAZY UNCERTAINTY

Chapter 109Cyril’s POV Had it been a less important issue, I'd have bursted into a hot chuckle at the expression on her face right now. But it wasn't. ‘‘You think I just opened my mouth and spilled everything to him, you wanna judge me like that huh?’’ She panned out. Just how she turned out to be the one upset was what I couldn't place fingers on. Shouldn't I be the one in that spot?‘‘Well what happened then?’’ I chose to be blunt. She heaved a scoff, throwing her face unbelievably around the room before they returned to settle on me once again. “If you're intentionally being blunt you should stop it already. It's so not funny!’’ “It seems you don't have all those strange energy rushing through you anymore, you should have been halfway into your wolf form by now.’’ I teased. “I'm not upset. You're mistaken.’’ She scoffed. “I could have sworn you were.” “Whatever. What did you say Thompson was up to now? Figure out the details of the curse? He's got to be fucking kidding ri

  • Fated for the Lycan   SLY QUEEN

Chapter 108 Alessia's POV “Huh?’’ I was taken aback. He was too quick with his words, how could I make out meanings to it? “I'm not letting you go this time around.’’ He placed out firmly. “Back to Thompson?’’ I asked. “You're not planning on returning to him are you? Cause I won't let that happen. At least until you have my pub.” He relayed, completely avoiding gaze with me. A secret smile tugged the side of my lips, my heart tingling with tiny butterflies. “Hmm. You sure about that?’’ I teased. ‘‘Try me.’’ He wasn't taking things lightly, his jaws tensed up. If only he knew! I'd long refuted my commitment to Thompson, he was less the kind of man I wanted for myself. However, that was just a conviction I made morally to myself. With my wolf now involved, things had grown wilder. It doesn't require just my conviction anymore but a more natural irresistible effect that loathes the thought of having any other man close to me asides my mate. Cyril doesn't know

  • Fated for the Lycan   THE QUEEN

Chapter 107Alessia's pov“Thank you so much. It's been a while since I had porridge so I really enjoyed it’’ I commended, wiping my lips with a serviette. With her usual weird smile, Aloha came up to clear the dishes. “I feel bad having to just lay here and watch you deal with my dishes like this.’’ I remarked sincerely. “You don't have to, it's the best you can do for now.” She answered, standing with the tray. “I'll be back.’’ Once again my gaze was back to the blank ceiling— the usual daily routine since I awoke from death pit. Cyril hadn't visited again since the last time, and I keep wondering if it has to do with an incapability to get his hands on Adrian for me, or if he had just been busy with work. I needed to get back to the mansion. I couldn't stay here any longer. Gripping my fists on the iron bars on both sides of the bed, I forced my weight up with every strength I could muster. My muscles didn't vibrate so much this time, and it was easier to sit up unlike ever
