A painting of the past

Camille's POV

"So we have to paint a picture of the past?" I asked Axel as I entered his car and sat beside him in the front. I had asked of Alina and Marcel, and I was informed by Axel that they had gone to Marcel's pack to bring the witch who would help with the ritual. I was glad for the two of them because they had realized their feelings for one another, and Alina was finally coming out of her shell of never falling in love with any man ever again.

"What kind of painting?" I asked Axel as he started the car and drove out of the garage. Axel didn't reply and fixed his eyes on the road. "Axel!" I shouted his name again.

He turned to face me with a smile on his face. He grabbed my hand and kissed it. Painting is easy, Camille. "We just have to find the perfect drawing for going to the past, and although I haven't picked a brush in years, I am still a great painter," he boasted and winked at me.

I chuckled and nodded in response. The rest of the drive to AX gallery was in silence
