57 Finding Rose

Dahlia's POV Continued

I laid there, my body felt completely spent as he rolled himself into me, his arms wrapping around me making me move further into his body.

A sheen of sweat covered both our bodies as he breathed out heavily onto my shoulder before inhaling my scent then placing small kisses along my shoulder.

"Mmmm, I could stay like this with you all day."

He hummed against my skin making my breath hitch. I wish we could stay like this but I knew that wasn't a possibility.

"I do too."

I turned my body around to face him, his eyes glowing brightly as he looked back at me. That intense caramel color looked like it was swirling as the light hit them making me want to melt into him.

I leaned up, pressing my lips to his when he frowned at me.

"Why are you frowning?"

"Cause you are going to get out of bed."

"How did you know? Oh... shower first?"

His frown faded before a small smile took its place. We showered together where he decided that the best way for me to shower meant him
