Chap 11: Hoping for a better future
Aiden thanked God for his luck. Lying in bed, he was thinking about his narrow escape from Dylan's punishment.
After Dylan had threatened him at the school, Aiden could not concentrate on his classes.On most days after school, Aiden had to walk home alone, as Dylan would always hang out with his friends or the numerous girlfriends he had. Aiden's new school was situated in the outskirts, away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. This is precisely what he wanted, and he was happy. His dorm was a single-room occupancy dorm, so he didn't have to worry about adjusting with his roommate. Most of the students who studied here were from the same town and had already formed their own group. So no one bothered Aiden, nor was he interested in getting to know them.
