[ Author's pov ]
Emerald was walking back to her room to ignore unwanted attention from her sister in law whose prying eyes were fixed on her only.
"I heard what happened last night."
Emerald's legs stopped in her tracks.She hated it specially coming from a person she really not wished to indulge in a conversation.
"You can sit here and enjoy your coffee.I won't bite I swear."Surprisingly,her voice was coated in sweetness much for Emerald to digest.
"Its nice of you Dalliah but I would be fine in my room."She tried to cut their forced conversation as quickly as possible.
"Come on sister in law."Dalliah patted the space beside her.
Having no other choice,she unwillingly changed her path to the living room.Dalliah passed her a broad smile showing her perfect set of white teeth.
