The next day came very quickly. A bright light had surrounded the entire chamber. However, the light of the sun was burning right on Mira’s face. Making it difficult for her to keep her eyes close, bringing her out from her deep slumber.
Slowly Mira opened her eyes even though she had to force herself. And just like that, bright light completely surrounded her sight. Blinking her eyes a couple of times, her vision was back to her.
“Ahhh…” Mira moaned in pain. The second she opened her eyes, the very first person Mira saw was an older woman. Her gray eyes captured Mira. They were beautiful but she had never seen them before.
“Luna…………” Sirie said and Mira did not understand. Slowly Mira looked around the room and more and more people there, all of them women and strange people.
“Am I in a……….. hospital?” Mira asked, barely audible, but they heard.
“Luna…. You………..”
“That is……. that is not my name.” Mira said, trying to sit up, putting all her body pressure and weight on her weak hands.
“Ahhhh…” Mira was struggling, it was clear.
“Let me help you.” Sirie said. Mira knew she needed help and, with her help, she sat down on the bed.
“Thank you..” She whispered. Now clearly understanding this was no hospital.
“Where am I?” She asked, freaked out.
“Please don't be afraid, we brought you here. You were in a car accident yesterday.” Sirie said, and Mira backed away, looking at Sirie carefully. Mira concentrated and remembered the night.
“I………… what about other victims? There were many people hurt.” Mira asked.
“the ambulance took them to other hospitals. We made sure of that Luna.” Sirie said, irritating her. It was as if this woman couldn't hear Mira and what she was trying to say.
“Ma’am, please you have to stop………” Mira immediately halted, and her eyes looking here and there. Mira was freaked out.
“Maya… Maya by best friend. Where is she?” Mira frantically asked.
“Yes, the girl that was with you. She is fine, she is being treated.” Sirie explained.
“Take me to her.” Mira said, taking off her covers and stepping down. All the young witches and Sirie freaked out at Mira’s sudden movement. However, the second she stepped on her feet, her body gave up and she almost fell.
“Ahhhh… shit…” She said in pain, her eyes shut tight. She was suffering.
“No. Lu…. You have to rest, you are still recovering.” Sirie said, but Mira shook her head.
“No, take me to Maya.” She said, having enough.
“But…”
“I am in a strange place, with strange people. I need to see if my friend is okay. Take me to her, please……” Mira said, being honest about what she was feeling.

Within no time, Sirie led her towards another set of large doors. Pushing the door open she walked in to see multiple people surrounding someone in bed. However, the presence of the queen made them back away and there she saw Maya.
“Huuhhh…” Mira was shocked to see her in this state. She looked so hurt but still better than she would have thought and this shocked Mira. Immediately she ran, forgetting the pain, suffering, wounds. Quickly sitting close to Maya.
“Is she okay?” Mira asked the doctor who was treating her.
“Yes, although, she still has to wake up, we are not sure when though. But she has no internal bleeding or any major injuries.” He said and she was shocked.
“What… Mira was hit by a truck. I saw the impact, it was very……….. ver…..y deadly. She should be dead.” Mira said. The doctor had no idea how to explain this to Mira, knowing she was a human and knew nothing about them.
“You should leave. I can stay here with her.” She said.
“But…” The doctor tried but she shook her head.
“I am a doctor too, I can take care of her.” She said as Siri walked in.
“Luna……” Sirie said and immediately Mira stared at Sirie fuming inside of her.
“I am sorry, I did not catch your name,” Sirie asked.
Mira.” All of them were delighted to hear the name of their Queen.
“I would prefer you go rest. We will call you if and when she wakes up.”
“No,” Mira whispered, looking at her sister she knew her whole life. However, the witch understood what they should do next. She pushed the door open indicating for them to leave and that is what they did, closing the door.
Sirie knew she had a long way to go and this was just beginning.

“Don't you think you trained your people more than you should have today?” Ronan, his Beta, asked him.
“I thought some of our women and men were coming to die. You made them all suffer very much.” Ronan was making fun of his best friend.
“It was important for them to train that way.” Kade said, not caring and with an expressionless face, he continued to walk towards the castle from the training ground. Both heavy set, large men walking.
“Are you going to go meet her. I heard that she woke up.” He said and he listened. His body language changed, his muscles shifted. Kade did not answer.
“Oh, come on. At least talk to me. You don't say anything to anyone but I know all of your deep dark secrets, Kade. You cannot keep everything to yourself,” Ronan said.
“I have nothing to say.”
“You saved her life yesterday.”
“It was necessary.” Kade said, like it was nothing.
“Yes, because she is your mate.” Ronan reminded her.
“No, because this pack needs her.” Kade said, stopping and turning to look at Ronan.
“Sirie was right, I cannot be selfish here. I never tried to find my mate because I did not want her, but my Kingdom deserves to have her.” He said.
“This is not what a mate is, Kade, she is more than that. You cannot be ruthless." Ronan said, wanting him to be human here, and the King smirked.
“Alpha…” Sirie walked up to both of them, giving them her respect.
“I just wanted to give you an update as you asked.” She muttered.
“Is the Queen doing better?” Ronan asked and even though Kade did not show it, he wanted to know, and his complete attention was on Sirie. Although she took time to answer him.
“What?” Kade asked.
“She woke up and left her room to see the other girl who had come with her, and since then she hasn't left. The Queen hasn't eaten either, nor taken her medication. I am scared to use my magic on her.” She said, getting all of them worried.
“But, she is doing much better. However, she refuses to rest.” Sirie explained it all. And right after hearing that, something inside of Kade shifted. He was mad, because she did not understand what she was doing to her body.
“Maybe you should go talk…..” Ronan was about to continue talking. But immediately Kade rushed away from there, making his way up towards the castle, catching both of them off guard.

Mira was resting her head on the wood of the bed, silence consuming. Her eyes only on her best friend.
However, out of nowhere she heard loud foot-steps, alarming her. Mira sat straight as they got closer and closer. And with a sudden impact, both the doors slammed open.
“Ahhhhhh…” She screams, scaring her. And that is when Mira saw him, the man who saved her life from that wolf, the man who transformed himself into something that she couldn't remember. But he was furiously making his way towards her as she started to back away.
“Get up…...” He said, immediately grabbing her hand and pulling her away from.
“What are y………… Let my hand go. What are you doing? Let me go..” She screamed, trying to pull away, but she was no match to that man. He was strong, a thousand times stronger.
“STOP IT………..” Mira said, but he did not listen, continuing to drag her out.
“Where are you taking me? let me go…..” Mira’s screams, hitting him louder. Nothing worked. And now, he was taking her to the same room and she was scared.
“No….” She said when he threw the door open. With all of his force he pushed her into the room. Mira losing her balance, she tried to stand up, facing him and holding onto the bed right behind her.
“Are you crazy? What's the f*** are you doing………………..Yo…………”
“You were told to rest, sleep, to take your medication. You didn't do one thing and you went there. Do you not see how pathetic that is?” He asked, shocking her.
“What? ……. why did you bring us here? What do you want?” She asked, scared. Kade did not say anything. Rather, he turned around, grabbing the door to close it.
“WAIT……. Wait, wait.” She said, walking a few steps and tears forming in her eyes.
“Listen, whatever you want, I can give you. If you want money…….my….. my father is very rich, I can give you all the money to could ever want. But please…………….. just let us go…” She pleaded, begging for this to work.
“That is not possible.” He whispered, closing the door.
“But I don't want to stay here. I am better. And the moment Maya wakes up, we are leaving.” Mira said, while the man stopped and listened to her. His back faced Mira and slowly he turned, looking right into her eyes. Kade said nothing but walked down, getting close to her. Needless to say, Mira was frightened for her life, backing away but there was no place to go. And without any warning, Kade got so close and grabbed her face in his hand.
“Listen to me very carefully, because I will not say this again. There is no leaving, no place else to go. Do you understand me?” He said, hurt her face.
“Ahhh..” She moaned.
“This will be your home, this will be where you live and when the time comes, this is where you die. Your grave will be here as well. There is no running.” He said and Mira’s eyes started tearing.
“I find no joy in having you here, but you are important, your presence is important to my people.” He said. Mira started to move her face from his hand, but that did not work. Because he wrapped her back, pulling her closer. Her eyes went wide open, as tears started to fall.
But he was talking to her, as if he was spitting at her.
“What is this place ?” She whispered.
“Your new home..” He muttered, letting go of her and walking out of the room.
“You can never leave. This is your Kingdom, forever.” He said, closing the door behind and of course, she heard him locking the door from the outside .
“No…” She mumbled, as her body shook in shock. She felt so helpless. And her legs gave away, making her land on the cold marble. Mira was not being able to breathe, not being able to think. But she shut her eyes, tight.
“This is a dream……. this is all a dream…….” She whispered, hoping to wake up soon.
For hours now, extremely long hours there was silence everywhere. A kind of silence that Mira had never experienced before. Mira was so numb to do anything either, sittings by the door, her head resting on the metal. She was simply breathing because that was the only things she could do. Small tears falling down from her eyes, sliding down her cheeks. There was a time where she could cry out loud but she was so exhausted that Mira stayed quiet, but the feeling of disaster and her fear still made her continue to cry. However, as she sat there in her horror and peace, suddenly there were muffled sounds from outside and this grabbed her attention. Even though she did not have it in her. Mira put all weight on her legs and stood up, they were still shaking and yet she made her way to the open balcony. Curtains, very large ones were all around and all of them green and white in color, flying back and forth because of the extreme wind passing through. Immediately Mira stepped out and took
“This will do, I hope you are comfortable in this Luna.” An older women said, fixing the dress that she had put on Mira. It was a beautiful white dress that fit perfectly on her body, having flairs for a skirt and a large cut that one from her thigh. The dress went to her calf. She wore beautiful lotus pink heels and her hair straightened perfectly. Mira looked breathtaking, but she didn’t feel the same way. It was more like her breath would be taken away from her at anytime now. That was the feeling she was living with. Immediately, the older woman came closer to Mira, pushing her hair away from her shoulder, but she flinched, backing away and afraid. The women stopped right there and then, thinking she might have offended the Luna. Mira glanced at the girl with the white hair. “Don’t worry. She is a human, just like you.” She said, and it was something Mira did not understand, but a human sounded much better than the monsters these people were. Immediately, the women put a small
There were multiple cars that immediately stopped right out at Alpha Henry’s pack. The fifth largest pack on land, the Darmis Pack. Immediately, all the men and women got out of their car, ready to protect their king and already on guard while Kade got out of his car with his Beta was right next to him. “It is truly an honor to have you on my land my Lord.” Alpha Henry said, shaking their hands, giving it a firm landing. The large man smiled from his heart, seeing the king here was amazing to him. “It was a long time over due. You and your kingdom have been helpful in our great loss and the end war.” Kade said. “And we will always be there for your kingdom, my lord.” Henry let out, immediately turning to his wife. “And this is my mate, Sylvia.” He said, introducing her and happy to show his new mate. She respectfully bowed down. “Please do come in.” She said, guiding Arthur inside. “Although, I must congratulate you. I have come to hear that you yourself have found a mate, our Qu
There was a very heavy beaming light that was spread all around the forest. It seems to be very peaceful here. However, there were a few chirping sounds of birds, a heavy breeze hitting the top of these enormous trees. Really breathtaking to Mira.“How much longer are we going to drive?” She asked Mage, as the driver went on driving in the most luxurious car, going through the dense forest. He too, was an enormous man, looking very powerful. Mage looked at her through the mirror.“Do not worry Luna, we are taking you to a place you will like.” She said. Mira sat back, trying not to roll her eyes.“I have no doubt,” Mira muttered, trying not to be mean to anyone. For a second, she couldn't help but think she was in a human trafficking or something. However, Mira simply glanced at the beautiful forest, the only thing that felt normal to her, after being in a mess that she was deep in.Although, Mira never got to see something like this in her life. It was truly magical here. And every n
“Come on, and be quiet.” Mira said grabbing Maya’s hand, guiding her down the stairs. It was dark here, late at night. “Do you know where we are going?” Maya whispered. “Trust me, I know.” Mira said, born with a photographic memory, she couldn’t forget anything. Walking down, they noticed how big this castle was but Maya was getting scared. Her heart thumping, felt like she could hear it. Immediately she pulled Mira back, holding her hand tight. “Mira…” “What are you doing? Come on.” “What if they catch us leaving? What if they hurt us?” She said, having all the right to feel this way, and her fear could be heard well too. Mira was worried about her, but this was not the time. “Listen to me, I know where the guards are standing, I know everything about this place and it is not everything, but I know some things and that is enough. Trust me, just trust me. I….. I have to get you out of here.” She whispered, truly pressuring her, and she had to. “I know it is scary Maya, but we a
“For a moment Mira just wanted to be dead, so she could stop hearing those screams. It was so horrifying, like she was in hell, this is what hell might look and sound like.Suddenly, multiple footsteps came towards her direction and she was forced to open her eyes. There she saw people form the castle, all rushing towards them. Mage and the Witch were there. Mira wasn't afraid of them anymore, not after what she had seen.“Maya, she is not …… moving…………..” Mira cried to the witch, who sat down, worried and immediately grabbing Mira’s face, looking up and down.“Are you okay Mira?.” Sirie asked, hoping nothing happened to her.“What happened to her?” Mage asked, taking Maya. Calmer now, Mia looked around the place, seeing women and men circling, around her all of their backs to her. Like they were protecting her.“Mate…” A very heavy voice came and a large man walked close to her.“What did you say?” Mage asked the Beta. Ronan.Everyone backed away, and without a warning he grabbed May
There was pure silence and nothing more. Darkness consuming every inch and corner of the room while there was no movement around. No heavy breathing around, nothing.Suddenly, the door opened as one of the guards walked in, the bright light from outside eliminated. This man was concerned as to where his Luna was, looking around the small room, and there he saw her, asleep in the corner, far away. She was sleeping like a fetus, protecting herself. A part of him completely broke to see Mira this way. But as instructed, he slowly put the plate down and water close. So badly wanted to wake her up so she could eat.He started to back away. This large man who could take down the world, felt very small in front of her, a woman he should be protecting.“I am truly sorry, Luna.” He whispered, closing the door. He couldn’t face her anymore. However, the moment the door closed, there was a very heavy sound, so rough that she was suddenly shaken. Mira slowly opened her eyes and saw only darkness.
Kade was dashing through the forest, late at night. His only vision was to get to her. The light of the moon was barely falling, as the dense forest surrounded him. However, he cared much less about his surroundings, for once it was Mira.“What is that?” One of the guards asked, hearing loud noises from the forest. But by the scent of their king, they identified who it was.“Alpha………..” They said.“Open the doors…” Kade said, without any hesitation. And once in, he rushed in immediately, but the feeling of extreme dread fell on him. Moreover, the smell of blood was everywhere.Immediately Kade pushed the locked door open, making it slam into the wall. However, there was no movement inside.“Mira….” He called for her, but she did not move, rather Mira was still on the ground, facedown. He couldn't even her proper heartbeat. In panic, Kade rushed to her, sitting down and grabbing her in his arms. Mira was so weak, her skin going pale, she almost looked dead to him. He simply couldn’t
