SARA’S POV

The air didn’t just feel wrong.

It pressed.

Like something unseen had wrapped its fingers around the entire camp and was slowly tightening its grip.

Sara stood in the center of the clearing, her chest rising and falling steadily, even though every instinct in her body was screaming at her to move… to run… to fight.

Something was coming.

And it wasn’t small.

“Again,” she snapped.

The rogue tied to the post in front of her coughed, blood spilling from the corner of his mouth. His body

  • Four Alphas One Revenge    CHAPTER 47 — TEMPEST BREWING

LILA’S POVDawn broke across the horizon like a bloodstain on the sky, the edges of clouds tinged with red and gold. I stood atop a ridge overlooking the camp, wings folded against my back, watching as the rejected mates moved through the forest below. Their energy was raw but promising, determination flickering in every motion.Nathan approached quietly, his golden aura dimly illuminating the mist. “You’ve barely slept,” he said softly, concern etched in every line of his face.“I don’t have the luxury of rest,” I replied, voice tight. “Every moment we delay, Ryker grows stronger. Every day we waste, more packs suffer. I won’t let him dictate the fate of those who finally found a family here.”He nodded, though I could see the worry in his eyes. “And yet… you can’t do it all alone, Lila. You’re pushing yourself too hard. I know you… I know your limits, even if you don’t.”I smiled, though it was thin. “Then I’ll push past them. For them. For all of us.”Nathan exhaled slowly, knowing

  • Four Alphas One Revenge    CHAPTER 46 — A NEW ORDER

LILA’S POVThe forest was quiet, but it wasn’t peaceful. Not really. The air hung heavy with smoke and the lingering scent of burnt leaves. My wings drooped, still weak from the mental assault. Every fiber of my being ached, and yet, I could feel it the pulse of life, of loyalty, of hope, threading through the camp.Nathan was beside me, his hand never leaving mine. The warmth of his touch grounded me, but even his golden aura flickered in uncertainty. “Lila… you can’t keep pushing yourself like this,” he said softly, voice strained. “You’ve barely recovered, and… and yet you’re already planning the next move.”I shook my head, trying to smile. “I have to. If I don’t… then everything we fought for, everyone we saved… it’ll mean nothing. The rejected mates… they need a leader. They need someone to guide them. And I can’t wait for the council or Ryker to decide their fate for them.”Nathan’s eyes softened, but there was worry there, deep and raw. “I just… I don’t want you to lose yourse

  • Four Alphas One Revenge    CHAPTER 45 – EDGE OF SHADOWS

LILA’S POVDarkness clawed at me.It wasn’t the forest. Not the camp. Not even the fire that had reduced our defenses to ash. This was her my twin inside my mind, bending it, folding it, breaking it like a fragile toy.I screamed, and yet no sound came. My body in the real world sagged; golden wings drooped weakly. Sara shook my shoulder, panic in her eyes.“Lila! You have to fight! Stay with us!”But the world inside my mind was a storm of red and black, swirling around me, impossible to escape. My twin’s laughter echoed, layered and cruel.“You’ve always been predictable,” she hissed, each word slicing through my soul. “You protect. You love. You cling. And that’s why you’ll fail.”I fell to my knees on the warped ground, clutching my head. The darkness pressed against my skull, sharp and suffocating. Memories—the faces of my pack, Nathan’s golden eyes, Marcus bleeding, Sara screaming flashed violently, each one a knife.Focus, I forced myself. Hold on.But her power was relentless.

  • Four Alphas One Revenge    CHAPTER 44 – WHEN EVERYTHING BURNS

LILA’S POVThe first explosion hit before we even reached the center of camp.Fire tore through the air in a violent burst, heat slamming into my skin as screams followed raw, terrified, real. My heart dropped into my stomach as I surged forward, golden wings slicing through the air, power flaring instinctively.“No!”The camp was already in chaos.Flames licked at the edges of tents, wolves scattered in every direction, some shifting mid-run, others trying to drag the injured to safety. Shadows moved between them not natural shadows. Controlled. Directed.Them.Ryker’s forces. And worse…Her.I could feel her.Not fully inside my mind this time but close enough to taste.Watching.Enjoying.“You’re too late…” her voice whispered faintly at the edge of my thoughts. My chest tightened violently.“No,” I growled. “I’m right on time.”“LEFT SIDE—DEFEND!” Ethan’s voice roared behind me, pure Alpha command ripping through the panic. The pack responded instantly.Good.We weren’t breaking.

  • Four Alphas One Revenge    CHAPTER 43 – FRACTURES AND FOUNDATIONS

LILA’S POVMorning didn’t bring peace. It brought clarity. And clarity… was far more dangerous. The camp was alive again not in the way it had been before, filled with laughter and fragile hope but in a sharper, more focused way. Wolves moved with purpose, their steps quicker, their gazes constantly scanning. Fear had reshaped them overnight.Fear… and survival.I stood at the center of it all, watching. They were training. Some of them still had bandages wrapped around their arms, ribs, legs but they pushed through anyway. Every strike, every shift, every breath carried urgency.Because now they knew.We were no longer just surviving. We were being hunted. And worse… we were being studied. My wings flickered faintly behind me, unstable, responding to the constant tension humming beneath my skin. I hadn’t slept. Not really. Every time I closed my eyes, I felt her again my twin scraping against the edges of my mind like claws against glass.Waiting.Learning.Smiling.“Lila.”I didn’t

  • Four Alphas One Revenge    CHAPTER 42 – AFTERSHOCKS AND WHISPERS

LILA’S POVThe forest was quiet now, almost painfully so. The echoes of the mind battle lingered in my skull, a ringing, heavy reminder that I had survived, yes but barely. My wings drooped, golden light flickering weakly with every exhausted heartbeat. My lungs burned, my muscles trembled, but my mind… my mind felt like a battlefield strewn with memories I couldn’t fully piece together.I sank to my knees beside the fallen tree, hands braced against the damp earth. The pack was around me, eyes wide, wolves low and tense, still reacting to the remnants of energy that pulsed like lightning threads in the air. Marcus knelt across from me, shoulders tense, gaze scanning every shadow. Ethan hovered, jaw tight, golden energy flickering faintly, barely restrained. Davian and Callum were already assessing, calculating, but I could see it in their eyes they were shaken. We had survived, but the truth was undeniable: we had been tested, and I had almost failed.“You… you’re still standing,” Ma
