Chapter 1

The perverted scenes played across the huge screen, causing the entire hall to erupt in chaos.

As my face flushed red, Sarah Nott, my boyfriend's adopted younger sister, snatched the microphone from the emcee.

"Winona Linton, so many people have already seen you without your clothes on, so why are you acting embarrassed now?"

Gritting my teeth, I glared at Sarah and replied, "I've never done anything like that before! AI technology is so advanced these days that anyone could just edit my face onto that woman's body! Someone must have ulterior motives and deliberately did this to frame me!"

Sarah jolted slightly, but her confidence didn't waver. "Wionna, I've already contacted the director of these videos. He told me that the female pornstar he hired back then was you. What else do you have to say for yourself?"

Upon hearing that, I couldn't stop the laughter that burst out of me.

"Which director are you talking about? I've never even met him, yet he dared say that he hired me to film this sort of video? How about you have him come out right now and confront me face to face about it!"

When Sarah noticed that I wasn't the slightest bit nervous, she started to grow anxious herself.

Purposely raising her volume, she yelled for everyone to hear, "You say that it was edited with AI technology to resemble your face, but then what about the body? The only way to prove that it isn't you is to take off all your clothes right here and now so that everyone can compare for themselves."

Of course I knew that she was deliberately making things difficult for me. She wanted me to prove my innocence in front of the entire crowd, but even if I did that and was actually innocent, I would still end up becoming the laughingstock of the city.

This was my engagement party, and she was purposely trying to humiliate me in public.

I turned to Adrian Kinsley, my boyfriend, and said earnestly, "Adrian, you just need to take a closer look to know that the woman isn't me. Even if our bodies are similar, there are some parts that just can't be faked."

Immediately, Adrian blushed a bright red. "Winnie, we always turn off the lights when we do it, so how am I supposed to know?"

Embarrassment and fury warred on his face as he hurried over to Sarah. "Hurry up and turn off the video! Don't you see how many people are here? Have you no shame?"

Sarah was briefly surprised before she gestured for the staff to switch off the screen. Then, she declared self-righteously, "Adrian, I admit that I failed to think this through, but I'm only doing this for your sake! If I hadn't discovered this truth, this bitch would've deceived you today!

"Who knows how many male actors she's worked with on these porn videos? With such decrepit morals, who's to say she doesn't have some sort of STD or something?"

Adrian's expression turned stony as he looked at me. "Sarah is my younger sister, and she's never lied about anything since she was young. Besides that, she has no grudge against you, so why would she create these false claims for no reason?

"If it really is you in those videos, just admit to it. I won't pursue the matter further since it's all in the past…"

My body went cold with disappointment at his words.

We had been together for three years, so I had assumed that he knew me well enough. Never would I have expected that he would be swayed by such flimsy accusations.

Fighting hard to hold my temper in check, I leveled an icy gaze at Sarah.

"Fine! I'll call the police right now! They'll surely look into this matter thoroughly, and if they prove that the videos were created with malicious intent to ruin my reputation, I definitely won't let you off the hook for spreading these lies!"
