Deep down I know she was right, I had to let her go and let her grow up but I tried hard to convince her to stay.

But after three days of ignoring the truth I knew I had to speak to her. Walking upstairs to her room, I knocked on her door and heard a faint

"Kimberly we need to speak," I stated.

"I had sent for snacks, I thought it was the maid."

I watched her intently without saying another word.

"If you're here to convince me to stay or change my mind, you might as well go back, cause I'm not ready to listen to you belittle my wish." With creased brows, she explained.

"No no Kim that's not it," I said waving her to stop as I took a sit at the edge of her bed.

"I'm sorry if you felt like I've been against you, I just want what's best for you. I thought I could keep you safe here with me, I got occupied with my work lately."
