~Skip to my birthday~ I open my eyes, happy to see Daniel’s face next to me, fast asleep. He looks so peaceful. I smile, grabbing my phone and heading downstairs slowly, not wanting to wake anyone. I make a quick cup of coffee, getting some bread, bacon, eggs and sausage from the kitchen. I might as well make everyone breakfast. As I place the bacon in the oven to crisp up, I hear footsteps. “Kisses? What are you doing up? “Kisses, happy birthday” He smiles with glossy eyes. “This can’t be real” I smile through my tears. “How’s your day so far?” He smiles. “Its good, really good” I sigh, happily. “I can’t talk for long right now but I will later” He says, a tear falling out of his eye. I want nothing more but to cry to him over everything that’s happened but decide not to. We don’t have much time and I don’t want to worry him. “How are you?” I smile, nodding. “I’m good. Yeah, I’m really glad I got to face time you today. You’re legal, time to move” He laughs. “Already have an apartment to look at” I smile, motioning for Grace to sit next to me. “That’s great. Gracie, how are you? I miss you. I miss you both” He smiles, more tears welling in his eyes. She slings her arm around my shoulder, pulling me close to her. Luke being in the army has been hard for the whole family. He was like an older brother to me. The moment him and his family left and he decided to go in the service was heart breaking.

~Daniel’s P.O.V~ I slowly get out of Kisses embrace and get ready for the game. My nerves pick up remembering this is the playoffs. It’ll be fine. Tim, Aiden and I have been preparing for weeks. ~Kisses P.O.V~ I woke up in Daniel’s arms. I actually got some sleep last night. I change out of his clothes, pulling a white t-shirt and a blue denim skirt on. I grab a belt, some boots and my purse. I do my makeup quickly and pull my hair into a half up, half down hairstyle, not having time to do anything else to it. “Daniel, you need to get up” I leave a quick kiss on his lips, feeling arms around my waist. “Come join me” He smirks before pulling me to straddle him. “Daniel” I shriek. “We have school” I giggle, tracing his neckline. “So later?” He opens one eye. “I did not realize you were wearing that” His pupils dilate. “Shut up. He should not talk to anyone like that. My nostrils flare as my fist comes in contact with the punching bag. “Fucking dick” I curse, trying to blow off some steam. “No way, Daniel Green. ~Skip a week~ ‘Daniel: Can I stop by quickly? I have a question’ I look at my phone confused, quickly typing back a reply.
