YOU SHOULD TAKE SOME REST

I look towards our kids and they were staring at us. I quickly cleared my throat then he came back to his senses, he helped me pull out the chair and I sat down trying to look away, I try to steal a glance at him and our eyes met.

He smiles and I look back to the kids who are whispering into each other’s ear. He walks to them and asked which of the dishes would they like, he mounted their plate acting like the sweet Dad I had always wished for my kids.

I was going to put some food into my plate then he took it form me. I was going to protest when he quickly says “ Please” I let him serve me , we ate silently after eating I was going to clear the table along with my kids.

He stopped us “ You are all special to me” he says and call the maids.

I stood up.

“ Can I go and start working? I asked.

“ You don’t have to rush,you should take your time” He said.

“ I am here to work and I should get to work.

“ Let me take you to your room” He says.
