HER BULLY'S REGRET

CHLOE .

The cab pulls up in front of the school premises.I checked my scholarship letter in my hand, I look up to the name of the school, I smile happily.

“ Finally, I am in my Dream school” I said out aloud with smile.

I bring out some few dollars from my purse, I gave it to the cab driver, I step out of cab while the cab man helped me bring down my Luggage.

The cab driver drove off while I stood staring at the school. “ Mom , I will make you proud, all your efforts would not go in shame, I am going to make you proud” I said to myself.

I walk into the school compound, I look around the school compound as I walk in,I could see luxury cars trooping into the school.

Whenever each car pulls over, I would see those students come down from the back seat with their parents. Some with convoy and their parents will come with them but I came alone.

My name is Chloe Sam, I am Nineteen,I just got a scholarship into this college here in California. I am my mom’s only child , my mom sold all she had to send me here, my dad left my mom to become the son in law of a rich family here in California,I heard he had a daughter who should be Eighteen by now, I have never met her before.

My mom couldn’t come because she is ill. She fell into fatigue few days ago and she was place on bed rest for two weeks so I had to be here on my own.

I felt alone seeing other students with their parents as I walk closer into the school. Some of the students came with their personal cars.

At some point I tear up but quickly dry my tears. “Chloe, you will not cry , you will be strong” I said to myself.

I miss my mom, if only my mom was feeling so well she would have come with me all the way from New York to California.

If only my dad was like every other dad  who stood by their family but Dad chooses wealth over my mom.

“Mom I miss you” I said.

I was so lost in my thought that I didn’t realized I had stopped not until I heard a loud horn of a car.

I quickly look back and I saw four exoctic cars, I move away and stare at each cars as they walk past me, I could see some female student gathering together and pointing at the Convoy, I could see some trying to adjust their dresses, I stopped in my tracks as well, I wanted to see who the girls are drooling over.

The convoy stopped, about five men in black came out, one of them open the car door, the men bow to him then a young boy of  nineteen stepped out of the car, he was dressed in an armless hoodie, he looks hot and tall, he looks so handsome and sexy then I saw a girl of about my age steps out of her GLE Benz, she walks towards the young man flashing a smile. She walked towards him like a model .

They both embrace and exchange kisses. “ Riley” I missed you baby boo” she  kissed him.

Riley look towards my direction , our eyes met and I look away, I held my luggage drag it away, I was few steps away when I heard him speak up.

“Hey you down town girl! You should watch how you walk in the school premises” he said.

I look back at him , I eyed him and just walked away. I went to the administrative, I gave them my scholarship letter, they took it from me and gave me all that I needed in the school then I was taken to the hostel.

When I entered I met another girl in there , she was putting her things together.

“ Hi” I greeted.

She turn back to me, she stare at me from head to toe and turn away. My cellphone rang , one of the cheapest Andriod phone.

It was my mom, I quickly move the green button aside.

“Hello dear” I asked.

“I miss you mom” I said with a breaking voice.

“ I miss you too” My mom said.

“Hope , you are not stressing yourself?I asked.

“I am not, I miss you, everywhere feels lonely without you” Mom says.

“ I feel lonely too”I replied.

“ How is school? Mom asked.

“ Cool, don’t worry too much about me mom,I will be fine” I said.

“Are you sure you are fine?

“Mom, I am cool”  we talked for a while before hanging on the call.

By the time I finished talking to my mom on phone, my room mate was all dressed in a beautiful dress not long her friends came in they were all dressed looking good and sexy.

They were talking about a club in town that they were going to spend the night and have fun.

They all look at me from head to toe, then my cellphone and they all burst into laughter, they point at everything I was wearing including my dressing and shoes.

They left me all alone in the room. I look at myself from head to toe, I arrange my things and undress, I changed into something comfortable , then I layed in my bed and before I knew it, I drifted into sleep.

The following I woke up so early, I dressed up for class while my roommate had just returned into the room, she went to bed while I get ready for class.

I went to the Cafeteria, I queue to take my food,I went to sit down, I noticed no one wants to sit with me as I was about to step out of the cafeteria I collided with both Riley and his girlfriend.

They both had coffee in their hand and it spill on their dresses. The coffee cup fell off, I quickly bend to pick the cup of his girlfriend.

“ I am so….so sorry, I ……..” Riley cuts into my words.

“ You are not just wretched but blind! Riley says. His girlfriend collects the coffee cup that I was holding in my hand had little coffee left  in the cup, his girlfriend pours the remaining coffee at my face.

“ That is for not being concious in your tracks”she says.
