Xavier’s POV

My fingers pressed into her delicate flesh, my hold strengthening as I gained freedom.

I cursed under my breath, my thoughts whirling in pleasure and bewilderment as I dived farther into her heat.

Her body coiled over me, her groans panting. Desperate.

My hips halted, and then— "You need to pull out," she cried.

Her voice alone nearly sent me over the edge.

"Shit—yeah," I mumbled.

With a dreadful shudder, I obeyed, staggering back as reality blasted into me.

I had just fucked my Luna.

My Lady.

Alpha's wife.

I barely noticed how my hands gripped my still-hard length and my pants pooled at my legs.

I was still perplexed as she turned to face me, her body glowing from our combined heat.

"Xavier, that was—"

She paused when she saw the expression on my face.

I must have appeared crazy. Bewildered.

Because I could not believe it.

I had just experienced the best fuck of my life.

With the most attractive she-wolf in the pack.

The Luna from Fresh Meadows.

"Xavier?" she said again, startling me out of my reverie.

I moved fast, reaching for my slacks and wrapping the rope around my waist.

My heart raced.

I felt like a thief who had taken something valuable.

Because I did.

I had stolen something that I had no right to touch.

I took a step back.

"My Lady…" I hesitated, my voice trembling.

She made two steps toward me.

I took five steps back.

Her eyes sought mine.

“Xavier, what’s the matter?” she whispered.

Her voice did something to me.

I clinched my teeth, fighting the desire to take her back into my arms.

I couldn't do it.

This was quite risky.

She was more than just my Luna; she was the wife of a powerful Alpha.

If I valued my life, I needed to leave here.

"I'll be on my way, My Lady," I said, pushing out and turning quickly.

I was prepared to leave.

But her fingers gripped my wrist.

I froze.

The touch shot a thrill through me.

My heart clapped so fast against my ribs, I was sure she could hear it too.

"Where are you going in such a hurry?" she questioned, her lips curling into a smile.

“We just had fun…”

My throat tightened.

"Oh no, My Lady," I swallowed heavily. "I… I feel ashamed."

She tilted her head, her fingers slipping around my waist.

Shit.

I clenched my hands.

If she kept caressing me in that manner, I would—

"I wasn't in the right frame of mind," I mumbled, feeling my power diminish.

I needed to leave.

Now.

But then — She slipped her nails down my chest.

I shuddered.

"Hush it," she said quietly. "Don't tell me you're about to apologize again."

Her eyes darkened with evil.

"We just had fun," she purred, "and I look forward to more where that came from. " Goddess help me.

I couldn’t hope for anything more.

But she was a married lady.

A married lady who belonging to a strong, nasty Alpha.

If I was caught…

I’d be pulled apart.

Literally.

I took a wobbly step back.

"My Lady, I shall take my leave now," I replied quickly.

Then— I turned and ran.

I didn’t even wait to see whether she would follow.

I knew that if I stayed any longer, I wouldn't be able to reject her again.

She yelled my name, but I didn’t dare stop.

We had already been too reckless.

Someone may have stepped in.

We were lucky.

This time.

I hurried toward the busiest portions of the castle.

I needed witnesses.

People.

A crowd.

Somewhere I couldn’t be pulled back into sin.

I ran until I was sure she was not in sight.

Then, I sneaked inside the omega quarters, making straight for my room.

The second I went inside, I dropped into my bed.

"Shit," I mumbled.

My fingers raked through my hair, anger pulling at my chest.

"What the hell did I just do?"

My wolf twitched restlessly.

First, Ceres refused me.

Then, the Luna kissed me.

And now—I'd fucked Luna of Fresh Meadows.

If someone finds out…

No.

No one could find out.

This had to remain hidden.

I had to forget what happened.

The door creaked open.

I jumped up quickly.

It was Nevada.

My roommate.

My heart hammered.

I turned toward him, trying to mask my fear.

"When did you get here?" I questioned, my voice strangely tight.

Nevada narrowed his eyes.

"You look… off," he answered softly.

I swallowed hard.

"Why are you lying on the bed like that?" he pushed. "You look dejected."

I sprang up, walking.

I needed to look regular.

“Did something bad happen?” he asked, studying me carefully.

I stopped moving.

My hands clenched behind my back.

I have to act normal.

I faked a careless shrug.

"I'm fine," I lied. "Just… did a little workout, and it took its toll on me."

Nevada's brow raised.

"A workout?"

"Yeah," I answered quickly. "It’s been a while."

Yeah. A while since I last raped my Alpha’s wife.

I winced at my own ideas.

Goddess no.

I couldn’t afford to think about her just now.

I needed to cleanse my head.

Nevada kept watching.

Then, ultimately, he said, "If you say so."

I breathed out a small sigh of relief.

But just when I thought he was going to drop it— He said, "Where were you working out, though?"

My breath caught.

Shit.

Omegas weren’t allowed to utilize the gym.

Unless…

“You snuck in?” Nevada guessed.

“No,” I said too fast.

His eyes narrowed.

"So, where?"

I paused.

Then pushed the first thing that came to mind.

“At the stable.”

Nevada frowned. “But I was at the stable earlier. I didn’t see you there.”

My stomach tightened.

My eyes blinked twice.

Before I could think of an answer, Nevada added— "But I did see the Luna there."
