After that day, Ocean and I became best friends and gradually, I got used to her. She was everything I needed, always ready to listen and to advise me.

I was in the office, going through the new designs for the hotel in Cuba and of course my mind kept drifting to Wilder even though I had promised myself I’d stop thinking about him and I’ll never have anything to do with him.

That promise was a tough one and keeping it was even tougher. If it wasn’t being reminded about the kids having striking resemblance that I’ve never thought of, it was me thinking about how the kids would feel when they find out their true identity.

“Get yourself together and stop thinking about Wilder, focus on better things, think about the kids' coming birthday or anything else” I pleaded to myself, hitting my cheeks softly.

Wanna eat anything?” He demanded and she burst into laughter. “I’d like to ask you to prepare something for me but it might end up being what will kill me” She teased and he frowned, pouting.

Wilder was seated in his office and waiting patiently for the elders. His mind kept drifting to Olivia and the vow he had made to the moon goddess. He needed to fulfill the promise if not because he was unsure of what the future held. He couldn’t let them stay and keep endangering their lives.
