The late afternoon had ended with us winning the tournament. Rainwood was the winner, only because of their Captain otherwise we would have been dead ants.

Caleb looked a bit sad but his wide smile had lifted up the gloomy atmosphere that was lurking around his teammates. “Yo Lina.” Ares whispered from behind, earning a shriek from me. “Holy chicken nuggets.” I instantly turned around and saw him smirk at me. “The little girl gets scared too, huh?” He teased, giving me a childish grin.

“Try that one more time and I swear to god you’ll be 6ft under ground.” I huffed with a pout.

“Awh, I’m scared.” He placed his palm on his cheek, leaving me chuckling at his cute behaviour. “I swear you don't want to anger the one who knows how to kill people." Winking at him, I gave him one of my menacing smile that left him all flabbergasted.
