Both mother and son was shocked by her words, their countenance both changed.
Madok tried digesting what she said, he was not only shocked by what she said but how she had acted towards him, like though he was not worth a dime.
What fuelled his anger was how she left the dinning room without giving him a backward glance, he felt so insulted and slapped to his guts.
