Meanwhile, Caleb and Susan stood outside Darnold enterprise. “Aren’t you going to use your power and influence to deal with Wendy. She must be feeling like a hero now.” Susan said angrily. “I have the power and the influence but I don’t want to use it because I need her to convince her husband to get something done.” Caleb said to her. “I see…” she muttered. Susan cleared her throat and rolled her eyes as she recalled the wealth Julius’ family possessed. “We met in an unusual manner but permit me to say I am delighted to meet you.” Susan said sweetly. Her tone irritated Caleb, he had read her mind and concluded that she was a gold digger seeking for luxury and ease.
