"Nina" Skyler again called my name when I didn't respond to his previous call. Lifting my eyelids I looked at him with narrowed glary eyes. I was seeing Jack lying face in his and my glare deepened.

"Easy women! I was just calling you to say you left your handbag inside the car, don't burn me with your glaring eyes for that," he said while removing his hands away from my arms and lifting them in the air in his defence manner. Will I ever be able to read him as he does with me? I sighed deeply at that thought. My hand was still under the running sink faucet. I averted my eyes away from his retiring back and looked at the mark on my hand. The slow pressure of the water was soothing the stinging pain on my hand. I was still in a numb state listening to his blunt words. I looked at him with wide shocked eyes. God this man. Can he once in his life choose his words properly. Tightly packed in his embrace I was still looking at his face. What does he mean by touching in a place where I have never been touched? What I got caught myself into. The torch which I was holding in my mouth fell as a gasp left from my mouth.
