I was busy admiring the decoration when my eyes met with cold light brown eyes. He was standing beside a beautiful girl who was talking to him but he was not even looking at her. I tried to ignore him but his gaze was still fixed on me. They were screaming what the hell I was doing here. His cold eyes moved from my face to all over my white lace dress with a clenched jaw. It made me go weak in my knees but I was successful in keeping my brave face.

"Nina is that you" I heard the surprised voice. Turning around I looked at the person. He was one of the handsome jocks of my high school. "You are looking so beautiful," he said while looking at me from head to toe. I don't know how to respond to comments like this it made me blush more. I was still feeling burning holes on my back it made me gulp down nervously. "Have some drink?" he said while taking a glass of champagne from the waiter.

Before I could take it a harsh voice said "No she is leaving" and the next thing I know champagne was all over my white dress staining it. A gasp left out of my mouth.

He bloody threw champagne on me.

Before I could react he gripped my hand forcefully and dragged me out of the party near the pool area where no one could see us. I snatched my hand away from his tight grip "Why the hell you ruined my dress" I half yelled looking into his cold eyes.

"What the fuck you are doing in my party looking like a slut" he yelled angrily while pinning me to the wall with his body. Listening to his words my blood boiled like anything. "Let me guess you came here to ruin my mood by showing your ugly face," he said with an angry smirk letting me know how much he hates me.

His words sting like always.

"Stop giving yourself so much importance. I'm here because your mom forced me to come" I said fuming in anger. "My face may be ugly but ugly souls like you are not even worthy of my life's single second," I said angrily and pushed him away from me to get out of his hold but he didn't let me go away. I could see burning anger in his eyes.

He moved his face more near me and said in a cold voice "I can hide my ugly soul beside this face. But ugly ducklings like you carry their ugliness which can't even be hidden by this beautiful dress because they stain everything around them with their ugliness" his words were hurting my soul making my anger spile out of the corner of my eyes. But I won't give him the privilege to see my tears because this is what he wants.

With all my power I pushed him making him stumble and fall in the pool. "Happy birthday," saying that I tried to walk away with a victory smirk but he didn't let me go that easily. Things he did to me after that still send a shiver to my spine.

One thing was clear that day I would never want to see his face again in this life.

But I don't know why the hell I am standing in front of him in church wearing a wedding gown. Looking at his victory angry smirk plastered to his face with my teary eyes.
