But the silence was deafening.

It intensified the horror that began to creep into his mind. “What if the Demons had caught up with Gem?”

As he breathed, he began to feel shadows flickering at the edges of his vision.

Suddenly, a pale candlelight popped up before his eyes, illuminating the hallways with a creepy radiance.

Mike squinted against the brightness, and his stomach dropped as he saw Zane and Jaxon standing ahead of him.

Their grotesque forms twisted in the light. Their dark eyes glowed with a sinister hunger, and before he could even process the sight, a scream tore from his dry throat.

“No! Help!!”

Fear flooded his body. He quickly compelled his feet to run even though they felt heavy.

But before he could take any more steps, Jaxon unfurled his massive wings.

The sound was like a thunderclap in the silence.

In an instant, he was upon Mike, grabbing him by the throat with a grip that felt like iron.

Mike gasped for air, his heart pounding wildly as he fought against Jaxon’s iron grip.

“L-Let go of me,” he stammered, his fingers clawing helplessly at Jaxon’s hand. His eyes flickered anxiously over Jaxon’s wings and fear gnawed at him.

“Not until I exhaust your greased asshole, Mickey.” Jaxon hissed in his ear. He cackled as his other hand moved to spank Mike’s ass.

Jaxon took a step back and watched keenly as Mike coughed, struggling to breathe and staggering to the wall.
