(Dylan POV)

I waited for Cami all day, when I came home from Stan's house, it was night. I called Cami and Gabe was with him.

Likewise, I couldn’t sleep at the thought of Cami. Furthermore, I don't trust that Gabe.

It's 4 am when I hear a noise outside. I left the room immediately because I did not close the door so that I could feel Cami's arrival immediately.

I looked up and saw Cami staggering up the stairs.

"Hi Dylan." She said and just passed me.

"Why are you with Gabe? What did you see in him, and you trust that person so much." I held her hand.

"Well, I saw money on Gabe's face." She smiles as she replied.

I'm not surprised anymore, money is very important to her.

"What the hell!"

"Tomorrow he'll give me money."

"What? Why?"

"I did a favor for him, so he'll pay me."

"What's the favor?"

"TSK, Dylan I want to rest, I'll be in school early tomorrow." She said and took her hand and walked to her room.

"And Dylan, don't wake me tomorrow, I'll be late." She called before closing the door of her room.

I just sighed and went back to my room.

Haist, why do I seem to be worried about the closeness of Cami and Gabe.

(Fast Forward)

I entered the Crown early, I never woke Cami up.

I just prepared something for her to eat before entering school.

Likewise, I head to the Stygian hideouts, I meet Gabe, his face looks clear.

Before he could pass me I spoke.

“You seem to be in a good mood.” 

He stopped, but not face me.

"Oh it is that obvious?"

"What did you make Cami do?"

“You don’t want to know.” He said.

"What is she to you?"

He laughed.

"Why are you asking me like that?" He said and turned looking me.

"She is mine." I said staring into his eyes.

"I know. But I'll take her from you. So, don't let your guard down, so you can challenge me more." He answered seriously.

"Oh well, the game is on. Good luck."

"You should say that to yourself."

"Really? Let's see."

"I'll drag Cami away from you. I'll do everything to make her fall so hard on me. Soon, she won't be able to part from me. So. Keep her as much as you can." He said and turned away.

The amount of confidence he had that would happen. TSK I'll give him a good fight.

He sure was a bastard.

Now I'm worried.

I headed to the hideout and I caught up with Stan just in time.

I need to talk to him about Gabe.

"Stan I need to talk to you."

"Seems so important huh. What is it?" Stan asked sit aside the book he was reading.

"About Gabe."

"Montero? What about him?"

"I feel, he's threatening me."

Stan laughed.

"Really?"

"He is not a Stygian, and he is Rogue Sharks lord's best friend."

"Oh. So you see him as a threat."

"Definitely!"

"He's a threat, between you and Cami but not the group."

"But he is the best friend of the god of Rogues. For me, he is a threat, so you should forbid him in our territories and our members."

"For me Gabe is no threat. You should keep your enemies closer, right? But if you are unable to stay close to your enemy, why don't you try to get closer to those close to them? You get my point?" Stan explained.

He was right there.

"But Gabe will never be our ally."

"He is not an ally to us, butt he is a friend. Don't forget, Gabe is still the real brother of my sister Zaneah."

I just kept quiet, sat down and lit a cigarette.

"I know you're like that because of Cami. Don't worry, Cami is closer to your hands, or maybe you're already holding her. Hold her tight so that no others won't grab her." Stan added.

The bell rang for first class, I got up and adjusted myself.

"Let's go." Stan's pulled me and carried me out of the hideout.

When we entered the room there was Cami. Everything belonging to the Icon Class I know and have a connection to each other.

I listened to the class and tried to get the anxiety out of my mind.

<After School>

"Dylan let's go!" Cami pulled my clothes.

"Dylan will you take me home again?" Zaneah asked.

"Of course. I can be your body guard." I replied.

"Cam, it's time for you to go, I'll take Zanny first, and then we'll have dinner outside." I said.

Cami nodded sadly. Suddenly change her mood.

We were about to leave the building when it suddenly rained.

Shit!

"What is that. Earlier I was sick from the heat, and then it suddenly rained." Zaneah complained.

“Did you bring an umbrella Zan?” I asked.

"Nothing."

"I'm not either."

"Amp this is my umbrella, just use it, it only fits two." Cami smiled and hand me the umbrella she was carrying.

I accepted it.

That's right, I'll take Zaneah to the parking lot first, and then I'll go back to Cami.

"Zan let's go." I supported Zaneah and helped her to the car.

"I'll take care of myself Dy, come back to Cami." Zaneah said and got in the car.

I nodded.

I ran back to the exit of the building, but Cami was gone.

Where did that woman go?

I ran in again and looked for her, but I could not find her inside. I called her phone, also out of coverage.

ASAP!

Furthermore, I just went back to the parking lot to say goodbye to Zaneah that Aiden would be the one to deliver with her because I had to find Cami.

"Oh, Dylan. Where's Cami?" Aiden asked.

"You have to deliver Zaneah home first, I'll just look for Cami."

“We’ll help you.” Zaneah said.

"No need. Maybe he's just there next door."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah."

After Aiden and I left, I looked for Cami again.

I went back to the building, to the bedroom, to the locker room, to the bathrooms, but she really wasn’t there.

I went down the building again and walked back to the parking lot.

Furthermore, I'll just take a taxi home. Maybe Cami is already at home.

I was just about to leave Crown University, I was struck by the sight of Gabe and Cami. Gabe is holding Cami's arm.

Geeez so! Gabe is really a threat. I feel it.

They are going somewhere.

I followed them.

I would have called Cami when I saw her kissing Gabe.

Damn! That bastard! I'll kill him !
