Chapter Nineteen
“Stop saying nonsense! I do not believe you!” I exclaimed. It is hard to believe what he said that I am special to him. I am starting to doubt his motive for inviting me here, because I thought his reason was just to have a cup of coffee with him. I didn’t expect an interrogation to take place. Also, I am suspicious of why he is here in MF Condo Towers. I think that I am really the reason why he came here, not because he has an early meeting to attend the next day.
It seems to me that he used his invitation as a decoy to execute his real plan, which is to question me now. He grabbed that chance earlier when I accidentally entered the wrong lift. It saved him the time and effort to approach me without me getting suspicious about his motive. For the nth time, I regretted entering the wrong lift earlier. I am really stupid for dragging myself into this situation.

It has been a week since I have been confined here in one of the private rooms of the hospital. It has been two days since I gained consciousness. The bruises on my face has been healed, the only left were the lightening scars. My body is slowly recovering but I still can’t move freely.
