Chapter Thirty Four

I tried again to get free. My leg was starting to hurt a lot more. Our wolves will heal us but broken bones can take a little longer. I tried one more time; my foot connected with something, and he let out a loud grunt. I crashed to the ground landing hard on my shoulder. To my horror, he grabbed my foot as I tried to crawl away.

"Let her go!" came a feral yell. Arion looked like he was going to shred whoever this was to pieces.

"No, you will never see her again," my assailant yelled back. Without another word, Arion lunged forward. My assailant shifted as Arion charged. The room was filled with sounds of snarls and teeth snapping together. I watched as my mate tossed the guy like a rag doll. I thought it was over but my assailant got up charging Arion once again. I tried to pull myself away from the fight. Before I knew what was happening, three more wolves arrived led by Arrow.
