“I’ll listen to sis.”

Lucia noticed that at the mention of home, Pablo seems to have deflated.

She squatted in front of him and said “You’re moving to my new apartment. It’s near my university. You’ll be living with me from now on. Auntie Pam will be taking care of you on days that I have a class. But you’ll have to move to a new school.”

“Really?” Pablo was surprised as well as happy to hear that he didn’t have to go to that house again.

“But my school is far from the university.”

“You don’t have to worry about that. There is a school about 40km from the university. He can enroll there.”

Pablo looked at Lucia for a second and said to Leon “I’ll listen to sis.”

“Okay.”

They all went down and completed the discharge procedure. Then drove to Lucia’s new apartment.

A week later Pablo started a new school. Lucia and Jael had two more months to graduate and had a lot of papers to write before that. Everybody was busy with something, but they were all happy for a first time in the past few months.
