Feeling overwhelmed by my emotions, my nose crinkled feeling disgusted. Lips tightly set, and eyes glared as Claus’s hand shifted from her hips to the small portion of her waist, the atmosphere changed to gruesome and unappealing. I watched as time around me slowed and Camilla leaned over his shoulder and whispered something in his ear, Claus visibly stiffened. His arm tightened around her waist as he pulled her to his chest, her lips opened to draw in a breath as their eyes locked. And my emotions exploded.

“Hazel,” Cassius warned, shackling my wrist and I snapped my head to him. Both of our eyes held in a battle of dominance which I would lose anyways, but I didn’t-couldn’t just see Claus and Camilla together. It just-didn’t felt right.

“Leave, Cassius.” I seethed, and he narrowed his eyes at my disrespect. I couldn’t care less what he’d do to me after this, but my priority was to rip Camilla away from Claus. My heart couldn’t take it. I shouldn’t be like this.
