Chapter Nine
Hector’s POV
The most breath-taking scent filled my nose overloading every nerve in my body, my wolf Bryant was pouncing around in my mind. Our mate was near, we knew it shouldn’t have been possible until we turned eighteen which wouldn’t be for another year but that wasn’t to say finding a mate early didn’t happen. As excited as I was at finding my mate I was in love with Athena. Bryant felt conflicted as he to had grown to love Athena yet the prospect of having his fated mate was overwhelming. Letting curiosity get the better of me I followed the scent which had taken me outside. There I saw Athena and prayed the scent was coming from her but as I embraced her my heart sunk knowing it wasn’t hers.
