After one month
Author's p.o.v
It's early in the morning and devika just cames out from the shower. She is wearing a pink colour saree and looking as usual beautiful. Her waist-length hairs are wet and she is wiping them with a towel. She walked towards the mirror and sat in front of it. She applied some lotion and cream on her face and body. She is applying her vermillion on her hair partition when she felt a pair of black eyes which are looking at her intensely.
She looked at the person through the mirror. The person is none other than Abhinav. He has just woke up and seeing devika intensely. His facial expression is impassive.
Devika gulped down her saliva because of nervousness. She can never understand what's he thinking.
Abhinav got down from the bed and walked towards devika. He is now standing behind her and seeing her through the mirr

Author's p.o.vDevika is sitting on the bed like a robot. Her whole face is expressionless. No tear, no pain, no agony is visible on her face. She is sitting leaning a little to the headboard.A few moments ago the doctor told her that she is already two months pregnant. She is going to be a mother.After hearing this news, she has become numb. She isn't understanding how she should react. Her inside is now totally blank.She is sitting on the bed and looking at the wall continuously. Her back is still hurting because of the whip slash but still, she isn't feeling anything.
