A knock came from the door.

“Boss, we have a problem,” Donel's voice came from behind it.

Kalon sat in his chair with a book in his hands. He never liked being disturbed while he was reading.

His eyes shifted toward the door.

“Handle it,” he said, returning his attention to the book.

“It’s from Vincenzo Caruso, Boss.”

The moment he heard the name, Kalon’s eyes lifted from the page as he looked toward the door again.
