“The Rosette’ family runs an architectural chain of companies that focuses on market value and builds establishments for finance-based companies which they have a good relationship of. Carmilla is the elder young missy wherein she has a younger sister named Clarise, it is suspected that they don’t have a good relationship with each other.” he read out loud, glancing over if his companion has heard and understood everything that he just said, in which she did.
She raised a brow. “Sibling rivalry already? It’s nothing new, almost all rich nobles tend to compete with each other among siblings for rights of wealth and power.” she explained, looking over at her nails as if they are far more worth paying attention to than anything else. “As long as she doesn’t cross my line, she

“Who are you, and what are your relations?” Cristopher asked while keeping his eyes glued to the files in his hand. Crystal placed a hand under her chin in thought. “I am Carmilla Rosette, first born daughter of George Rosette’ and Clarinette Rosette’. I also have a younger sister named Clarise Rosette’.” she replied, remembering every single information which she painstakingly memorized beforehand. The both of them are in a vehicle, on their way to the Rosette’ household where Cristopher needs to drop her off. Yet as they were on their journey, Cristopher decided to ask a few more questions to test whether she did understand every point and information she needs. Although it is a very short assessment, he still needs to make sure.
“I’m back, did you miss me, sister?” Crystal placed her hands on her hips upon entering a room where she is sure that her sweet little sister was. The younger female gripped on her pen as she seemed to be busy writing, or rather, sketching some designs since she’s from a fashion-oriented family? “Actually, I would really love it if you would learn how to knock before barging in like some kind of barbarian. Has mother taught you nothing? Or is it that you’re too arrogant for being chosen to care about common basic etiquette?” she questioned, clicking her tongue in annoyance. Crystal didn’t seem to care as she walked towards her.
“You must be amazed, are you?” Crystal tensed as a voice spoke from behind, upon turning, it was none other than her partner who disguised as a noble. A scoff escaped her lips as she crossed her arms. “What are YOU doing here?” Crystal questioned, emphasizing the ‘you’ while pointing an accusation finger over his chest. A slight chuckle escaped his lips as he placed one hand over his firm hip and brushed his combed hair with his fingers. “Well, it’s your first time in a social occasion, who knows if you unknowingly fall into some kind of schemes set up by rivals?” Cristopher said, earning a roll from Crystal’s e
Suddenly, a ruckus was occurring by one side of the banquet hall, people would take a few steps back, afraid of being involved. Crystal raised a brow and strides her way towards the forming circle around the ruckus, trying to get a view of what was happening. “Get away from me!” A man yelled, prying the woman away who clung onto his chest, trying to get head-to-head with the woman. “Kiss me!” The woman yelled as she clung onto a man, her eyes could’ve been seen with the expression of infatuation and love. The corners of her lips were drooling as her lovesick expression caused the explosion of gossiping nobles. Disgust was the only expression

Cristopher slowly picked up a small file by the desk after some time, opening it to gaze after the blocks of words before glancing over at his companion. “For the record, Carmilla has a pure image of pure innocence. I doubt that people will suspect you for that.” he mentioned, in an attempt to lighten the mood yet the woman just looks at him in wonder. “That reminds me, who is Carmilla to you?” Crystal questioned, her eyes sparkled with expectation which caught Cristopher by surprise. “Carmilla? What do you mean?” he questioned back, gazing over to the left side of the ground in slight hesitation. “You seem to know an awful lot about
After a few moments of following the group, Crystal wanders around the area but still within the group. She somehow spots Angelica on the second floor’s railings, following along on another floor yet what she seems to be suspicious of, is why Angelica seems to eerily eye her specifically. Perhaps, she must’ve noticed Crystal’s odd behavior or maybe it has something to do with the banquet before? Regardless, she shook her head and didn’t mind it anymore. The more she minds it, the more it would make it too obvious that she has been bothered by it. For a prolonged period of time, they were led to another room which was very large, around
They were then led to the dining hall for lunch, and it seems that it was another test of theirs. Crystal has never seen so many kinds, shapes and sizes of different tableware in her entire life just by looking over the well-prepared table. Perhaps, the rich are fond of wasting soap and water for these numerous pieces of metal where not all would even be used. “Enjoy.” the maid spoke as she turned to leave, servants carrying dishes in each hand waltzed in the dining area where the girls are finally seated on their spot comfortably. Crystal could only think about how this might be another test of elegance knowing that not everything is as simple as they appear to be. &nbs
