Chapter 64

Tristan’ POV

Aksher and I had been working towards getting a cure for the impending doom that was about to come. It felt like there was a log of wood resting heavily on my shoulders. Looking at the faces of the pack members who lost their loved ones made my heart break even more.

Aksher and I made sure to flip through the books for any kind of information at all. We were there all night but it turned out futile. Tarrell noticed my frustration and spoke up.

“I think we should get some rest, we’ve been at this since morning.”

Aksher looked at him and sighed, he was prolly tired too but looking at my keenness towards getting something from the book, he was afraid to voice it out and Tarrell saying was a relief to him.

“You are going to have wrinkles.” Tarrell said.

“We have to find something. I can’t just leave Tarrell, my people are dying…You can go ahead.” I turned to him and said.
