IRIS' POV
The pounding of my head wakes me up. I groan as I open my eyes, my Iris trying to adjust to the light. I look around my surroundings, only to find nothing but a dark room and one door.
My heart starts to race when I realise that I'm strapped to a chair and a rag is shoved in my mouth.
I snap my head to the side when the big door is pushed open. The person that walks in makes my eyes widen with fear and surprise.
"Asher?" I question but it comes out muffled.
"Hello, Iris." He smiles innocently.
I shout and send curses his way behind the gag shoved in my mouth.
He nods his head towards me and immediately a guy ( that I don't know) steps forward and removes the rag.
Hey, guy! I'm happy to say His Iris would be coming to an end soon! Yayy! Thank you guys for going through this beautiful journey with me! Lots of love from my side. We have just 4 or 5 chapters left. Don't forget to vote, comment and subscribe.
IRIS' POVI'm still strapped to the chair. I feel weak and dehydrated, due to the fact that I haven't eaten and I'm thirsty. My face hurts from the slap I received from Erik when he came back and we exchanged some harsh words. I can still feel the dried blood on my lips.I look blankly at the door when it opens, only to present Asher."Great. Another asshole." I mumble even with the rag in my mouth. He gives me a creepy smile. "That's funny."He steps closer and trails a finger on my arm. I curse inwardly as his finger makes contact with my bare skin. I almost gag at the look on his face."You have such beautiful skin.."I glare at him as I struggle on the chair. He notices my struggle and he smiles. "Aw, po
IRIS' POV I turn back to see what has him confused, only to be met with Erik pointing a gun at me. I bite my lips hard as I feel the impact of a bullet on my right shoulder before I even hear the sound of the gunshot ringing through the air. I hold my right shoulder in pain and I groan as my legs give out under me. I watch as Luca stands still before he runs to me, I sigh softly as his warm strong arms engulf me and slowly lower me to the floor. I can hardly focus on the excruciating pain on my shoulder which has almost numbed my body as I watch his face contort with fear and his mouth spew out harsh words. The loud ringing in my head, accompanied by the pounding footsteps and shouting of people wouldn't cease. The sound of gunshots being fired and the loud blaring siren coming from w
(Author's note: This chapter and the next are mainly bonus chapters (because I love my readers so much). They are going to consist of Iris and Luca's lives after their high school graduation.)FIRST SEX SCENE.IRIS' POVIt's been months – a span of three months, precisely, ever since the Erik incident which landed me in the hospital. Within those months, Luca has refused to have sex with me.Apart from the occasional touches here and there and lustful gazes from both of us, nothing. Well….I wouldn't really say we haven't done anything at all. We've engaged in other…... minimal sexual activities, that's just about it.Anytime I ask him why he doesn't want to have sex with me, I get a "You're not ready, yet." From him and it makes my hand itch to whack him on his head.
FIRST DAY OF COLLEGE SCENE. IRIS' POV When my acceptance letter from University of Washington to study Neuropsychology came in, I had been so freaking excited that I forgot all about the distance. We both forgot about the distance. Then, Luca's acceptance letter from southern Utah university to study English literature came in and we both realised that our relationship would be taking a huge turnover. We both had this conversation when his letter came in and now we're having it again. I stare at the dorm in front of me with a sigh. A muscled arm wraps around my shoulder. "You're gonna be okay." "I don't know…." He spins me around so I'm facing him and tips my face up, our gazes lock. "We're going to be o
Every good girl is warned about the bad boy, who goes looking for trouble, with split lips and bruised knuckles. But no one warns you about the broken ones, who stay so silent, you begin to wonder what's brewing in their heads, whose grey eyes are so hollow with intense sadness and darkness to them. Boys with rings underneath their eyes. Boys who whisper things so sweet and quietly you wonder if he was an angel. Luca is your broken bad boy, with a thunderstorm brewing deeply in his eyes, he finally finds someone who brings light to his life. Turns out she's also broken too. Together, through battles and unbreakable walls, they try to help each other fix their broken pieces. Turns out, broken people can't be fixed. They just want to feel safe and be loved. ***** Guilty for it to be clichè.
I looked in the full length mirror, watching as the red top I wore clung tightly to my upper half. My jeans were a bit bigger than the average. As kids we all had that perfect future planned out in our heads. Having the supermodel body, tall, flawless skin, but things really didn't go as planned for some of us while others got the future they always dreamed of. I was merely 190 pounds yet people were already on my neck for it. Moving from Georgia to a small town 6 months ago wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I attend a public school,Greenwood High, and I made two friends during my first week at school and after 6 months, you could call us best friends. I applied a little makeup and after a few tries I tamed and styled my curls, taming my curls was never easy. Like they say "The fro can never be tamed." Putting on my black heeled boots,I decided I looke
Giggling as the tall stranger leads me through a door into this really large and wide balcony. "Hey mister, I didn't even get to say yes yet...... you have no right dragging me up here without a yes chicken poop." I say with a slight slur to my words, I couldn't even get what I was saying because I was hiccuping so bad. *I need water.* The tall stranger, who still hasn't told me his name, backs me into the wall without replying me. I gasp "Rude." I say with a pout. *I really need water.* He begins to lay kisses on my neck and face, but I pay no attention to him, rather to the dark silhouette sitting on a chair at the other end of the balcony. He wasn't paying any attention to us though. He kept looking forward with a blank face. I could only see his side view, since he was putting on a hoodie, he had a blunt in his hand and it was marijuana becaus
Having a major hangover on a Saturday morning, really wasn't what I planned for. I woke up with a migraine and trying to put off my alarm was another great task, I mean it's Saturday for crap sake. I walk to my closet and grab an outfit before stripping out of my clothes and taking a shower. I didn't even bother looking into the mirror because sometimes I couldn't stand seeing myself in the mirror. We weren't rich, no but we weren't poor either, ever since mum died things have been hard for Bryson and I. And my uncle,Tyson, was working hard enough for the three of us, he owns a small family restaurant downtown called Tyson's, and that's where I was headed to. I tied a cute little scarf around my puffy hair. After applying a little makeup I was ready to go. &
